You sound like a real douchebag tbh. Not sure what the point of that story was besides wanting to let everyone know about your TORRID sex life with your SOOOO hot ex-wife. So hot, guys. Smoking hot.

The cliffs and the final question were really the only relevant details of the entire thing. The answer is yes.

Pics or you're getting banned.

That's in response to me reading your entire OP and your writing skills actually hurting me physically.

Fair enough. I wanted to illustrate that I was blinded by her youth and beauty in the beginning and more than willing to do things that would constitute being called a DB on a poker forum. It wasn't entirely a thinly or not so thinly veiled brag about all the crazy times we had in the office LOL. Imagine she was ugly or plain or whatever it's all the same.

My bad I thought the post was pretty succinct and to the point while hitting the relevant details and I didn't drop it all as one wall of text. Still ended up being tl;dr.

StrayJJ;

Aside from the tumor, you are just enjoying your 20s. Just remember that.

Imagine the story was short and sweet.

I met a girl and married her in April of 2015. In November of 2015 it was revealed I had a brain tumor and would require surgery. In April of 2016 after a lengthy recovery I find out my wife is unhappy. In June she tells me she wants a divorce. No fighting...no warning. Just "I'm not happy and there is nothing you can do"

The worst part is I still love her and think about her every day. The day we got back from the hospital we talked about how much we loved each other and as soon as I had fully recovered we couldn't wait to have kids. I just feel like if i had been able to get better faster things would be different and that is so hard to accept.

Part of me also knows/thinks she was sent to me to save me and the price i had to pay was losing her in the end. If we hadn't been married I wouldn't have been covered by her insurance when we found out about the tumor. When I lost my job i didn't pick up COBRA in the interim because up until that point I had been the picture of health. Her insurance covered me and she took care of me when I needed her the most. Even if she did bang my best friend if she needed me now or in the future I'd exhaust every option to help her.

Unfortunately I'm 37. I did enjoy my 20's and thanks to her a good part of my 30's....until....

Did she **** you over money wise in the divorce? If not, count your blessings and move on. That's my "good advice" post for this thread, the rest will be snarky and rude.

You aren't the first and won't be the last to say this.

Nope she didn't try and take any of my money thank god. I think that she didn't want to be the girl that divorced her husband 6 months after brain surgery and ruined him financially. Luckily she did alright with money. It does hurt a little bit that after we started dating I got her a job through my connections at another bank that she probably would have been able to get if not for me(who you know is always more important that what you know in finance). She wasn't exactly qualified but she was a smart and capable girl so I knew she would do well and she did.

That's a poor recap.

You've basically highlighted only the uninteresting things for the title of the thread.

1. Woman starts at your job a few years ago, gets married a few months later.
2. 3 months after getting married, she starts flirting/sexing you.
3. A few months into your affair, she's divorced.
4. A few months later, you're married.
5. A few months later, you have some severe health issues, which she and your best friend help see you through.
6. Shortly thereafter she tells you she wants a divorce, and you get one.

Added notes - interestingly, best friend (married) has been snapchatting now-ex about once every 30 seconds for months, and had been openly flirting with her when I was in recovery. Also, other stuff leads me to think that they are sleeping together (details redacted bc I'm not typing all that ****).

Is my best friend sleeping with my ex wife? Should I do anything about it? It's been 2 full years since I got sick and a year since I sold my house. Should I just over it?

I told the sister in law if it does turn out this is true at the very least I'm going to bang her sister on the rebound LDO.

Edit-Best Friends sister in law hates the best friend for a few reasons. Most of which is he is a shameless flirt and SIL is convinced that my ex and best friend are doing it because of the snap chat thing, her husband saw them having beers after work together(not uncommon for the financial industry). She is also sure if it's not my ex then it's probably someone else and multiple someone else's.

Double Edit-A little more background on the best friend. You guys will love this. About 10ish year ago our friend..we will call him Dave was with a girl. This girl was a shameless flirt and a good friend of mine before she met Dave. One night she calls me bawling and basically says she slept with my best friend and couldn't live with herself and she's going to kill herself. I get over there and she has lightly started cutting. She says "your best friend said that if i told anyone about this he would make everyone believe that it didn't happen and i was crazy" Well somehow he pulled it off and his wife believe him over this "crazy girl"
How did SIL respond when you said you'd bang her sister if it's true? Was she surprised that you hadn't already?

If he is your best friend, you should have some idea if he is the cheating sort, or maybe you weren't as close as you think. Is the "crazy girl" the only affair that you know your best friend had? Have you helped him lie to his wife about any others?

Do you feel like you need the closure of the certainty that she cheated on you with him? Are you using this thread as a way to build up the courage to find out for sure so you can move on to screwing other women?

Tough crowd. I found the OP interesting, though this sort of thing is always relevant to my interests.

People often do stuff because they feel like doing it, right there and then. Often they regret doing it. Very often that stuff leads to bad consequences. That doesn't necessarily mean it was a mistake.

That's about as deep and meaningful as I've got, I guess. GL.

I tend to look down upon hedonists and libertines. Maybe it is because I play so much poker, but I have developed a strong disgust for people who lack impulse control. I'll just never feel any emotional connection with people over their willingness to do stupid stuff for pussy and/or dick.

But I do find it interesting to analyze why people do things.

Your wife was definitely ****ing this dude before your divorce and is definitely still ****ing him.

They probably think they’re being sly, this is just the stuff you’re seeing 3rd party.

Cut ties with your friend, maybe talk with his wife, but really at this point no one is doing anything to you, so hit up tinder, bang some randoms and get on with life

I have a similar distaste for people who actively seek out married/in relationship people, I think they are the scum of the earth.

Thankfully I've never been cucked by one of these pieces of crap, but I would seriously **** their **** up somehow if it did happen. Like Cask of Amontillado style.

Betagainst, the LV bartender/drunk with an OOT thread is a good example of the scumbag I am referring to. Just a POS imo.

SAME

for two years have been working across from the guy that ****ed over my last serious relationship, going to work every day staring at that piece of crap was hard for a while.

there are so many ****ing women out there, i dont understand why people feel the need to mess around with marrieds/committed people.

I think the people who cheat while married / in a relationship bear much more of the responsibility than the people they cheat with.

Also, what part of Florida is this happening in?

it depends on who seeks out and pursues the affair - i'm definitely not innocent, on either side of that coin, but I've definitely seen situations where the girl/guy normally wouldn't give in but some pieces of crap smell weakness in a relationship and tear it apart because they can.
