well thats why he is completely sober and living in a sober living house, and I use klonopin for GAD that I've had since I was younger but I'm now on a very small dose and take it responsibly and only when I need it. Neither of us drink or use anymore and are taking it day by day to improve our lives.

I mean I've worked with some pretty screwed up people but I'm not sure I've run up against this particular mixture of stuff before.

I did work with a woman with histrionic personality disorder once. Sessions with her were NEVER dull. The constant drama of her life would have exhausted me in three days or less.

Given the ages I'd actually say it's more likely that WVU is the sicker of the two, clinically, but I'd need like a full battery of psych tests and a full clinical history to be sure.

Oh, and in general the prognosis for personality disorders is very poor, if you mean "curing" them, but insight and the development of new tools is certainly possible with a lot of work. It's just that with a lot of PDs, particularly cluster B, the person usually doesn't think there is anything wrong with them (it's everyone else that's ****ed up, not them) and are therefore resistant to treatment.
