The hooker that WVU did stuff with wouldn't have ditched us.

I know you are a crazy driver, but wtf car do you have that can average 150mph on a commute like this?

I don't even want to think about where she'd keep her hair clippers though.

I was joking, I don't actually drive that fast (especially in VA). But to answer your question, I have a 2013 GT-R, so it's probably capable.

given that 25 miles in nova would take even mario andretti a good 60 minutes, I'm guessing he's teleporting.

d10,

She already explained that she didn't just cancel, it's that she spilled some coffee and other stuff that wasn't her fault which ended up in her not being able to make it.

If it was something so bad that she wouldn't have gone in even if mandatory, then it'd be more forgivable

But the fact that she didn't go in because it was optional means she clearly does not prioritize customers properly

Spilling coffee can be pretty traumatic in ones life.

LOL, we're not customers, alright? It's pretty crappy that she was jerking yeota around, but the customer-responsibility arguments are not relevant.

??

Yeota had a confirmed appointment to go pay to get his haircut at her saloon. He was a customer. Other potential clients, like d10, are also affected by her decision.

LOL at not a customer

You should be her business partner so you can enable her like her parents, etc did, which caused her to get to where she is at today

I agree we're not customers... yeota was though. The customer-responsibility argument is relevant. He was there, she wasn't, he went somewhere else. She was responsible.

Not only did you let one client down and lose a customer, but you lost other customers like d10 and many others. This is a good lesson in how you need to ALWAYS take clients seriously and actions have consequences into the future.
This is BS. She learned nothing, how was this a good lesson?

d10,
do you drive really fast (no relation to 25miles in 5-10 min.)... my car is probably low 12's, 0-60 in mid 4's and it's fast enough... no idea what I would do with myself if I had a 2013 GT-R. Jealous.

Never. 2p2 can confirm I obey all traffic laws.

My hairstylist is a drunk with no license, basically a perfect hybrid of wvumichelle, and he hasn't missed an appointment in 10 years. Ami, you suck.

On the flip side of that coin, despite being a complete trainwreck, my hairstylist is awesome at cutting hair. But he studied at a different saloon.

amichele,

Your reasons for blowing off yeaota are disingenuous and transparent and you should feel bad about that.

Yeota isn't balding either so it would have been a nice change of pace for her. Such a shame..

Actually, given that hair styling is a hard science (atoms, how do they work?), I think the MIT of hair saloons is what you want for your stylist's alma mater

Yeota,

Major ****ing pimp move wearing the sweater to the appointment. Guaranteed if she was there, you would have smashed it.

Ok, forget the customer terminology. Yes they are technically customers.

The point is that Yeota and d10 are going to see her for OOT's benefit (which I totally appreciate), not looking for a stylist. But it means that amichele's relationship with them is not the same as it would be for a regular customer. She is not trying to win their business and retain them, because Yeota and d10 won't go back for non-OOT reasons.

How she treats yeota/d10 says nothing about how she'd treat regular customers. Yes it's still a scumbag move - I said that.

You're confusing clients and customers. They were customers, and had she done her job, they could have been potential clients.

Not true, in business you want a reputation for reliability. You never know if some OOT would become a customer, or if others at the school or the salon owner or whomever, noticed the cancellation. Generally, you do what you say you will do with people, and when you waste their time, it gets noticed. Not my fault the world is this way, no felonies.

I'm gonna give her the out to take that she all things considered, chickened out at the last minute. Which if you considered the situation, the cluster**** she walked into here in OOT thanks to her awesome boyfriend, how she handled it; hers, his, their pasts that is all public record and common knowledge. How we treated the entire situation...and that all of a sudden this place is showing up at her work? To do what?

Well, as we know, to get a haircut for a nicely dressed, recently thinned good guy named yeota. But consider this. This was the internet showing up. It could have been something else all together.

Anything short of that, kinda a bad move, and especially on our birthday boy. To which, again all things considered, shouldn't really shock anyone.
