If you aren't tough enough to deal with spilt coffee, dealing with drug issues seems damn near impossible. You're better than this. C'mon amichelle

No doubt.

Anyway, a great effort by yeota.

So considering I took a day off on OPTIONAL WEEK is not the same as you canceling on a client at work.
Come on now... you cancelled on him in the worst possible way. A morning PM via 2+2... with no confirmation back. He gave his name and number to the salon... If 2-3hrs. before the appt. you didn't receive a PM back or see an update in the thread about it, that's a sign you are probably blowing him off.

If you had an appt. on the books, didn't the school expect you to show? Did you call to tell them you weren't showing up and cancel your appts.?

Don't forget to only get your Paul Mitchell products at salons. Don't be fooled by the ones seen in drugstores and supermarkets, because they can not be guaranteed they're Paul Mitchell.

Um WVU is very well versed in the 2p2 community, and they are probably back together at this point, it wouldnt be hard for him to tell her stuff like that.

Don't know if I can still swing this based on the optional week blackout thing. I'm headed to the high seas next week thanks to the stories posted by de captain over the last few years. I'll try for early next week if I can fit it in and amichelle is available.

What does a consultation entail? Style advice and tips? Information about hair type and proper care, things like that? Some kind of informal analysis and opinion? How long would this take? This sounds much more appealing than a cut timewise and because I'm growing my hair out to donate anyway. Any tips on the best place to donate (not Locks of Love, considering Pantene and a few others) are also appreciated.

If I can come by on either Monday or Tuesday for a consultation, what time should I choose to minimize my wait time to see you as a walk-in without an appointment? Want me to bring you a Cinnabon?

I'm guessing no less than 3 white knights PMed her with explicit instructions on who to contact to get the thread removed, and that's not even counting WVU post-makeup. No suspicion, it makes sense.

yeota,

Excellent work on your trip report and happy birthday. If amichelle can provide specific guidance on the best time for me to show up and you can make it as well, I'll buy you lunch from the sushi conveyor belt for your efforts.

amichelle,

You can join us if you like and I'll buy you lunch from the sushi conveyor belt as well for being such a good sport with this entire thread.

WVU,

Sorry, no sushi for repeat drunk drivers. Bump this thread when you have 10 years sober with no incidents and I'll reconsider.

Actually, I wondered that too and she said she got a PM from someone (after she changed her password) and they said if she really wanted the thread deleted to contact him

Also, whoever it was that posted this:

about a certain poster had me seriously lol'ing. Hilarious

very good post chopstick...

"He can even come in just for something stupid like a consultation."

How much is a consultation?

on a serious note (white knight in training), wouldn't be a bad idea to ask for it to be deleted after its all said and done... but we're not there yet.

I can cut Amichele a lil slack for bailing during optional attendance week...she does have a four hour commute. But if she bails the next time we have a 2+2'er with an appt and we again fail to get a TR, I'll quit this thread*

* OK, maybe not, but don't let us down again woman

In the context of this thread, this is one of my favorite lines of the entire thread.

The rest of the post is funny too of course.

A+ report, yeota

Now it's even more of a disappointment that she wasn't there as it woulda been epic

I agree that bailing when you have an appointment shows a lack of personal responsibility and commitment, but is expected from her previous behavior

AFAIK, yeota went in ONE time last week and amichelle showed her trademark exaggeration with the "past few weeks" line and of course her trademark phrase made a cameo: "not my fault"

Seriously, though. If you want to be successful then learn that the CUSTOMER is #1...you had an appointment so attendance was NOT mandatory for you today

The client analogy was spot on...you had a client who had an appointment...period. Who cares if school was mandatory or not?

Not only did you let one client down and lose a customer, but you lost other customers like d10 and many others. This is a good lesson in how you need to ALWAYS take clients seriously and actions have consequences into the future.

Happy Bday, yeota. Again, A+ trip report.

d10,

You gotta go. I mean, come on, what'll it take you? Like 5 minutes to drive there?

Just to clarify, because I doubt amichele will understand what everyone's so upset about, I think it's perfectly acceptable to cancel an appointment on an "optional" day (didn't know these even existed but since apparently they do, whatever) if a customer makes an appointment without confirming it with the stylist. Everyone has a right to enjoy their days off. The ****ty part here is not only did amichele confirm the appointment, she actually suggested that today would be good for her. Backing out at that point without a really good reason is ****.

Obviously she doesn't want any 2p2ers to come visit her. Attempting to schedule something where she know's you're coming will just result in an endless stream of excuses. So the clear option here is.... AMBUSH show up announced she can't avoid forever.

If you guys are that desperate for a TR that is, which ldo.

It's about 25 miles away, so more like 10-15 mins. I don't really see the point though. I don't know about the rest of the forum but my interest in her life is at an all time low at the moment, and I've been enjoying this thread as much as anyone the past few weeks.
