Sure, I agree with that but she's still mourning a death right? Spending time on 2p2 in OOT isn't the right way to spend her time, I get that it's totally her choice but if the thread is locked she can focus on more important things which is what I think WVU would have wanted.

I would assume exactly that and that's a totally valid reason to do so. killa had to talk me out of deleting thread thread when it started when I was still a mod, and I'm no fan of it, but there's no rationale for closing it given the standards and norms in OOT. If it's entertaining and not creating problems for the site/mods, no reason to shut it down.

Wow these latest revelations are pretty ****in crazy man. What are the chances that Mark was murdered? I guess the party line is that he overdosed but let's review the circumstances:

1. He possibly had security clearance at the time of death and was helping to protect US from powerful Chinese businessman and bureaucrats. Not the kind of people you want to piss off.

2. Since he may have had a security clearance and clearly did have a drug problem, is it not possible that NSA/CIA needed to a secure method for solving a security problem? Some things can not be unseen if you know what I mean.

3. Mark was living with a drug addict who was repeatedly being threatened by a psycho drug abusing ex-gf and drug dealers.

4. Mark's ex gf was/is a psycho (allegedly) and probably capable of paying (in whatever currency is necessary) a hit man.

This story could be on 20/20.

I don't mean this in a negative way but it was clear to me WVU was the kind of guy who sought out chaotic situations and personalities during his lifetime. With that said I think it's fitting to see this thread (and the memorial thread) devolve into such craziness again. He is gone now but it seems to me his spirit is alive and well in this thread through the people he chose to love and associate with. That makes me happy.
