Seriously, this. If you're really over it, then be over it. No more contact with her or her family, even in some silly email you won't send. And stop being paranoid about something that may happen 3 years from now. Deal with it if it happens, but realize that as crazy as she is, she's probably not going to keep coming after you once she realizes it's pointless or finds some new drama in her life, especially if you just stay out it. But if you want to encourage her to go full psycho, by all means, start threatening her and her family with lawsuits.

If he did abuse her, then he doesn't deserve any sympathy. It still doesn't mean you're not a numbskull for sending that email. Killa gave you some good advice, but maybe it was too late.

I dunno if you watch the show Deadliest Catch, but if you do WVU, there is a captain named Elliot who runs a boat called the Saga. Whenever something goes slightly in his way he goes on an ego trip and then completely ****s up everything that was going in his way and is then in a worse spot than before. That condition we call being a ****ing degenerate and you need to stop doing it.

Yes, missing work for court sucks. This is why no one fights parking tickets because getting paid for a day of work (or a day off) >>>>>> $50 parking ticket.
