I thought personality disorders couldnt be treated? Hasnt that been thrown around in OOT and in this thread before?

they can be treated, it's difficult due to their nature

treatment involves limiting the symptoms...and if the symptoms are not present for a while, then then it can be argued that the person has been treated and no longer meets criteria for whatever PD they may have.

well i meant it's difficult because by their very nature most people with a PD aren't likely to think anything is wrong with them, are not gonna be honest with themselves about the process, and are gonna resist every step of the way to any kind of change.

i know in a lot of ways i am a ****ed up individual. but I have progressed a lot through therapy. I think anyone is capable of it, but it takes re-examining everything you've ever believed about yourself and a lot of people aren't willing to do that.

a consistent pattern we've seen in this thread is amichele never thinking anything she does is wrong, or it's someone else's fault, she's gonna be a huge success, we're all losers, etc. etc. etc. this is textbook PD stuff.

It is OOT that will ultimately be judged.

The bolded is why PDs are so hard to treat. They don't accept anything is wrong with them, if they do, then work can begin

Sending this to lawyer. Sometimes I do have moments when I get nervous/mad that I will have to be in court again (maybe). I have anxiety that can get pretty bad sometimes. But this is quite the relief

could be remembering the series of events wrong because at the time those threads bored me and I didn't follow them closely. If I had any money to bet on the outcome of this, I'd bet every dollar I have on you being innocent in a trial unless you're lying to us about any aspect of it

i really hope for your sake it wasn't a stupid plan from both of you to be like "hey, maybe people will pay for these" and she went along with it and now she's trying to screw you.

Bout 2 hours. There is a good chance I will never step foot in court cuz my lawyer is going to be talking to the Commonwealth Atty and basically gonna tell him that if he wants to proceed then its game on. The state only will try cases they think they can win.

On another note, this has kind of screwed me in another way which is that jobs look if you have any legal issues pending.

No one ever got pics of nudes, and I would never sell my gf's body to strangers like that. Or anyone I know. So its total BS.

last night i laughed at a couple random movie lines this guy to my right (poker) had said. then he asked me how much i was up n i was like, who cares look at all these chips, n he's like, seriously, how much you up? and im like, seriously, im not discussing that here. then for 5 minutes he's offended and telling me i shouldn't ignore people (put my headphones on) and all this **** while im simply trying to watch the hands. then after the table shows no reaction to his vulnerable attn seeking, he goes to cash out, but on the way he gives me a titty twister. im furious and i tell him it's poor form to put his hands on another human being (30-day ban if i do much of else). at this point there were like 5 times he could've just stopped his antics and moved on, but now the 6th he's at the counter and staff is in an earshot of all this and he starts rambling about how only a gay guy would get upset at another guy for touching him. i show no emotion, and he continues to get more upset by the second. then he's like "we're cool right? we're cool right?" and im like "yeah". then he's literally outside the room fully able to walk away and he yells back to me "we're cool right???"

jmakin, what's your diagnosis?

edit: he also said, "i have 4 kids at home, there's no way id touch another guy like that", and prob some other demented ****. his behavior was reallllllllly bad, but it was much stranger how it seemed that being ignored just made it exponentially worse.

The only food show I've watched was Iron Chef, but once I found Kitchen Nightmares I was hooked. Surprisingly enjoyable to watch.
