So once I saw that WVU was rocking the high collar sweater, I decided I had to wear one of my own. In this picture you can sort of see how long my hair is, but I will have a better one to follow.
Those of you following the fatties/scam thread will note my much thinner sexiness.
So was properly dressed, had a stop to Starbucks for a light mocha frap with a shot of espresso so I could be solidly uppity for my conversation. Not gonna lie was a little nervous myself, especially since I had to use my full real name to get an appointment at the saloon!
Here I am driving, pre traffic. Sun really helps you be able to see how long my hair is. I like it about 1" (maybe a little more) on top and usually hit up a 1.5 razor on the side. Freshly shaven as well! And you can see the sweater swag too, high quality stuff. All of this could have been yours, amichele!
So I finally broke through the AIDS traffic (continuous construction FTL). Here is the sign for Tysons and 495! Pretty baller that I had one take at this and did not mess it up. Well done, galaxy nexus camera. You can see the sign for new express lanes, but Im not balla enough to use that.
So I park by the LL Bean since that is close to the saloon. Let me make an aside that the parking there is cutthroat as this small lot was obviously a hot bed. Must be a lot of people getting their haircuts! Quick check of the directory and I found it. Had to creepily take this photo yesterday in the little coffee shop area right outside the saloon.
I was greeted by very attractive women both times I went. In fact, a strong majority of the women working there were good looking. Actually, the women just shopping in Tyson's were very attractive. Lots of upscale stores brings out the classy ones with solid style sense and proper hygiene. Anyway, the waiting area at Paul Mitchell features a very weird bench that looks almost like a fountain. Didnt end up with a good pic of it but it was kind of an awkward set up. Thought it was strange also that the person I checked in with had no idea amichele wasn't there but I suppose that happens often when 30 people work there.
So I decided to walk around the mall a little. For those who have never been, Tysons is freaking huge and has 3 levels. Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Lacoste, Brooks Bros, etc. Many high end places and lots of middle-high end places like Express, Coach et all. I went into the rolex store and told the guy that it was my birthday and that I just wanted to try a watch on a take a picture of it but he was kinda a dick and wouldnt let me. Douche.
I did stumble across this place, which made me lol:
Maybe that saloon is good. I was actually surprised that there was probably 10 places in the mall that you could get your hair did.
So I did some more walking around, tried to find Spencer's but failed, was gonna buy my brother his Bday present there. He likes their T-Shirts.
Then I found the food court, which despite its mocking itt is quite nice. There is a super fancy Sushi-conveyor belt thing. You can just take stuff off the belt as it passes your table and then you pay for everything at the end. Pretty cool idea and I bet it gets people to spend a lot more on the average check.
All in all at least it was a solid birthday adventure. On the way home I stopped and did some other errands.
Here amichele, this pic is for you:
Thanks for reading, hopefully at least this was some consolation.
