You have 3 dui's and had some explanation that seemed to imply you weren't even using drugs or drinking when you got them and when you said you'd never get a DUI again, it wasn't clear whether you meant that you'd never drive under the influence again or that you'd never get caught again. Was falling asleep, leaving a party, or texting supposed to be an excuse of some kind? Did you really get a DUI for "leaving a party" or for "leaving a party drunk and then driving"?

If you really didn't drive under the influence, or if you take responsibility for it, you might get a little more respect. I'm sure most of the people reading this thread have thought this, they're just too caught up in the train wreck to dwell on it like gregger.

Sorry if it came across that way. I take full responsibility for all my actions. I went to jail. It sucked. The amount of $ duis cost is astronomical. I am now in a sober living environment because I chose to be. I'm changing my life or trying to. I seriously treated life like on big ass party from age 16 to about 27.
When I was saying how I got pulled over, yea I was drunk, put was pointing out the initial reason for the stop. Not that it really makes it that much better, but it was two dui's as one of them I wasn't charged with a dui, so I have two on my record. Still not good obv.

DBLbarrel in the ask me about being a cop thread pointed out that you can get pointed out for seemingly trivial things when the cop suspects something more serious, like DUI. The officer needs to be able to articulate (as DBL would say) a justifiable reason for the stop.
