I'd like to say that I have seen probably 20 different psychiatrists in my lifetime since I was in high school til now (mostly because I've moved a lot in my life so constantly had to get a new dr everytime I moved) and not a SINGLE one has ever mentioned BPD, diagnosed me with it, and I've even asked 5 different doctors about it and if they think I have it and they have all said no I don't. They say I have GAD and possible bipolar 2. Which in reality everyone has a little bit of bipolar 2.

This is off WebMD: Most people with bipolar II disorder suffer from episodes of depression. This is where the term "manic depression" comes from.

In between episodes of hypomania and depression, many people with bipolar II disorder live normal lives.

What about histrionic?

I am glad you brought up the part where he said my mom told him not to date me. It wasn't about me. She didn't want me dating an addict, she knew it wasn't a healthy relationship, and she has always wanted me to be more independent. So that was her way of trying to get mark to leave the relationship... not that she thought he shouldn't be with me because of me. She didn't want me to be with anyone... especially a fellow addict.
