A lot of my friends (mostly my female friends for some reason) can't even smell tequila anymore because, "OMG this ONE time...."

As for me, I'm no fan of Raspberry Smirnoff because omg this one time when we were eighteen it was all me and my friends could get ahold of and we each had some preposterous we're-eighteen-and-therefore-invincible amount.

What's your story?

Edit: Also, I know beer/wine/non-distilled drinks are not "liquors", but w/e.

I once threw up a lung while drinking Smirnoff Twisted Green Apple, so now the thought of it makes me nauseous. Also, as those who were there for Vegas last year know, I have difficulty keeping down Jack Daniels. I can handle other whiskey relatively fine though, for some reason.

Used to be the go-to drink for taboozaning with girls... Hard enough to be dangerous, soft enough for everyone to enjoy it and feel a bit toasty before the hypothermia kicks in. After a couple miscalculations in dosage you really don't want to ever smell cinnamon again.

I can't drink whiskey anymore but not so much because I don't like it but rather due to how it makes me act. For some reason I get really belligerent and obnoxious when I drink whiskey. One night after whiskey I got up and peed on the window sill (wtf) then nearly got violent with my wife and I have no recollection whatsoever of this. After that episode she has banned me (with my full support) from ever drinking whiskey again. Now the drink of choice is either vodka on the rocks or wine.

Yeah, I can handle a margarita or something but a shot of tequila would probably make me puke the instant my lips touched it. One night 6 years ago is all it takes.

I happen to enjoy Goldschlager, but I know some people who can't handle it - or anything cinnamon-flavored - anymore.

Used to love this stuff, always took shots of it when partying with my friends...had too much one night, got sick, and I couldn't bring myself to drink it (let alone even smell the stuff) again.

The only time I've actually puked up bile. 8 years ago. Never again.

I'll take your word that it's cinnamonmumnim flavor as I have no recollection, nor do I want any. Throw in OOOOOZZZOOO for an honorable mention.

I used to sit in my grandparents attic on our 3-4 annual trips and drink lots and lots of Johnny Walker Red Label almost every night (or at least every other night) of my time there. This was when I was 13-17. My favorite method of consumption? Scotch Screwdrivers w/ lemon juice!

I was naive and killed any future ability to drink scotch/whiskey. The scent of it now makes me almost throw up.

Since freshman year of high school I cannot drink or smell gin without gagging.

Amen to Southern Comfort. Freshman year of college I'd chug a fifth all at once just because my tolerance for it was so high, and I had so many bad experiences that just seeing it makes me uneasy.

Jager, and its not even close.

Tequila has been disgusting to me for a long time. Also, not alcohol, but years ago I spilled a bottle of soy sauce all over me and have never been able to tolerate it since (was like 9 years old doing wheelies with our grocery cart as we left the store and flipped the whole thing over. Mom was not happy).

I've yet to have my Jager "moment", I really hope it never comes because mmmmmmm Jager is soooo good.

Hobbs, my Jager moment came in grad school when I was driving a drunk friend home from a bar in Miami. He was pounding Jager all night and got pretty sick. He had the passenger window open and was leaning his head on the window frame virtually passed out. Then out of the blue I saw him sit up and lean out the window to puke, but of course he failed to judge the speed the car was going, and the vomit sprayed back into the back seat of my car, soaking the windows and upholstery everywhere. It was so nasty and I made him clean out the whole thing while he was hungover the next day.

Still didn't work, and I had to take the car in to get shampooed and cleaned again. I'll never associate Jager with anything other than how wrecked my buddy got that night, and my poor Honda.

I think I got close recently when I kept drinking "Key West Root Beer" which is jager, root beer schnapps, and coke.

I can't even imagine drinking whiskey at 13, let alone Red Label.

Gin for me, but I intend on trying it again soon. Also Jager is too gross for me to even have any bad stories about it.
