I spoke with the manager and then ultimately the owner and they've refused to offer any assistance unless I pay in advance to have it trucked to them. Am I out of line to be mad? Is it unreasonable to expect them to come get it and have it repaired?
The discussion with the owner went downhill quickly when I used the word "god" in our conversation. The owner told me not to take the lord's name in vain and that he expected an apology from me. There was no apology but less than 5 minutes later he told me "You could be struck down by lightning for taking the lord's name in vain." The conversation ended shortly after that.
Contact the local parish thingy asking them to pray for his soul, letting them know that despite his willingness to swindle locals, that you forgive him and hope that he finds his way to the lord. If you can do this by email somehow it's even better, because you could just CC in the company.
