Fubo is a good service overall. It definitely has BTN. Biggest thing that it doesn't have is the Turner channels. Obviously that's significant if you're into NBA, but it also does bleed into other sports; they have half the NHL playoff games and I believe they also had some of the MLB playoffs. I prefer YouTube TV's overall interface, and it does have TNT/TBS/etc. I get caught in the middle because I'm a Pac-12 fan and my only way of getting Pac-12 Network is through Fubo, but then there are times I really want to watch TNT/TBS for its live coverage. I realize that most in here wouldn't care about Pac-12 Network.

If you get an Apple TV device, you can populate all of the shows you're watching in the "Up Next," which is what I operate from. Unfortunately there seem to be Apple/Netflix hostilities that make it not show Netflix shows, but everything from all of the other services will show up there in one place. You can also tell Apple your favorite teams and it will automatically populate the teams' games as their broadcast is starting.

In January of this year, on a whim, I said **** cable.

I made a ton of plans on how to watch all the things I thought were important to me. Namely, sports.

I cut off cable and bought a Roku device. After a month, I forgot about stuff I thought I had to watch. I watch plenty of golf via peacock and paramount. Baseball on the weekends are available. And now that YouTube has the nfl package, I’ll have that.

Don’t try and replicate cable. That’s a pain in the ass and you aren’t going to save much money. After a few weeks, you’ll forget about most of the crap you were watching.

It’s not like I save that much money. About $100 a month. But I don’t turn on the tv anymore without a plan. That was worth it all by itself.

Btw, if you have to watch survivor (you don’t) it will be on paramount the next day.

Yeah, I'm kind of in pokeraz's camp.

Turns out, the game plays out exactly the same way whether I'm watching or not. Can catch the highlights and scores on SportsCenter later, and do something with my time instead.

Of course, there are some events you really want to watch in real time--your team's in the championship or whatever. But mostly, life's better with less TV.

He's my favoritest. You're up there near or at the top as well. Red's Poetic Posting is definitely over my head more often than not.

Hulu has a lot of what's on TV anyway regarding shows/sitcoms.

I haven't fully rewatched The Insider in years (though it's great and I saw it several times when it first hit DVD), but I do still drop in on the deposition scene on a recurring basis.

This is why I hate writing with a large group. Everybody has their own little opinions, and it all gets homogenized, and you lose the whole edge of it.

I guess if I could wish for anything, it would be that whisky had no calories.

I’d like to destroy my liver without the indignity of also gaining weight.

what if i told you gaining weight is like a triple-shot multiplier?
