Let us know if you remember an alien with long white hair from Iceland, a lizard, and a grey.

Wow some deer are bigger then the cars driving around these days, I cant even imagine.

In my case, the adrenaline I experienced from this whole encounter was overwhelming. Not just those 2-3 seconds where you are about to hit the animal with your vehicle.

As there is also, the ten seconds I went psychotic and bashed the cats head in with my 7 iron to avoid the prolong suffering it might have to endure, having to kill an animal in such a barbaric fashion for its own good still lingers in my thoughts. But no doubt, it was in the animals best interest to check out asap.

Thanks for letting me share my thoughts LC OOT.

Congratulations, then! That means you no longer need a modifier and are simply Dids.

The guy who no longer posts here will henceforth be referred to as OldDids, OriginalDids, SweaterVestDids, or FingerBangingDids.

ooters with more than one child: is it normal to have a favorite?

i just had my second kid and am worried that my first may be my favorite, but maybe this is premature because the new one is only four weeks old.

Try selling one.

Econophile,

I think it's probably normal to have favourites. I'm pretty sure I was my parents favourite, much to the disgust of my middle brother. Some people just get along better, but I think in your case I wouldn't start worrying now as once baby starts developing personality you will bond more. If you do have a favourite later on just make sure you treat them both fairly. I actually think my dad compensated my brothers with better gifts etc out of guilt that he clearly favoured me.

Nice #humblebrag

I don't think I have a favorite. My son is WAY easier than my daughter, and there are more activities that he and I enjoy together; but my daughter and I have much more in common personality-wise (we're both nuts). My wife clearly favors my son.

After my mother passed away my aunt said to me "I know it was hard for you to be her favorite" in front of my sister. It was awkward.

I don't have a favorite. My relationship with each is definitely different, but I don't think unequal in any realistic terms. I definitely worried about this idea when my second was born.

Had the same thing happen to me at my mom's funeral in front of my sister. Aunt from Dad's side comes up and says something like, I'm sure it's tough on you both but everyone knows how mothers favor their sons. Super awkward and unnecessary.

That actually is bordering on being quite cruel. People can say really stupid and hurtful things at times where they should be extra careful to be sensitive to peoples emotions. I'd be really hurt if someone said that to me if I was in your sisters position.

I think it's fairly standard for mothers to favor their sons and fathers to favor their daughters in a two kids son/daughter household? That was definitely the case in my family. I'm sure my dad loved/loves me just as much as my sis but he definitely was more lenient with her BS and my mom with my when we were growing up.
