Also got me wondering how many people take advantage of the Philz order/pay/pickup system to not pay for their coffee.

For those who haven’t been to Philz, at many/most locations you order your coffee directly from one of multiple baristas, go to a central checkout and pay, then wait around a bit and go pick up your coffee from the barista, who has no idea whether you paid or not.

Yep, Sansome & Pine. But I think the truck is relatively new. 24th street in Mission was their only location for a long time, then they opened SOMA Mission Bay, then a bunch more stores before the truck.

I called the clerk's to use a bona fide "out" after getting a summons last year, and I told them that I didn't want to be put on their Do Not Call list. They assured me that I wouldn't but they don't summon anyone who has been on their summons list within the past three years. YMMV obviously. And that restriction doesn't mean the feds won't come calling any day now.

Yes, mostly. The charge was robbery and there was a possible deadly weapon enhancement. We found the defendant guilty of the robbery but didn't feel the people had proved there was a knife in this case (no knife was recovered by the police).

I actually have not gone through a protracted replay review at a game I was actually at, only games on TV where I am free to go to the fridge or the bathroom or start looking at the internet or whatever...this was like a weeklong replay review and between individuals' interpretation of what they're seeing and interpretation of how the relevant law reads, it was incredibly tedious.

That claims that truck location started a few months prior to April 2015, but I have no idea if that’s correct.

But even if it’s 2013/2014, that’s relatively new and far from OG Philz. Philz has been around for a long time, it just started big expansion recently.

Mission was 2003, mission bay and van ness locations have been around like 10 years. Don’t know about the other ones, but I’m guessing this list is in order of opening.
