I did. I was told it would feel like my brain was being sucked out through my spine, but I can't really say it was like that.

Dude is actually putting a needle in between 2 vertabrae while you lean forward though, so I will admit to being a tad concerned with error. They have to go in a certain distance too, where it 'pops' through a membrane, but too far is very bad. They're basically injecting straight into the fluid in the spinal column. Pretty creepy iyam.

Relief is immediate and long-lasting however. I had blown out a disk and had massive sciatic nerve swelling fwiw.

Every time I see the climate thread, which I have also never opened, I sing "Do you believe in climate, in a young girls heart..." in my head.

Kinda hate that. And you're welcome.

I have elected to join in the climate thread while in slow meetings today. Countdown to being banned starts now.
01-17-2014 , 11:45 AM
How long are we talking for relief? The pain came back? What then?
01-17-2014 , 11:50 AM
Yeah that sounds really terror inducing in the moment, although I'm sure the relief when it went well and worked was pretty awesome.

You could you know, delete it, as it in no way belongs in this forum and is replicated in the forum where it should be.

Looking at who voted for what options in the climate change thread is good information when figuring out if someone's an idiot though.

It instantly reduces the swelling, which removes the pain, and lets your body heal which mine did.

I think you are allowed 3 of these lifetime(or 3/yr), but I only needed the one.

But then I would have to open it. Pass.

We're calling each other names already. Soon we will be talking about straw men.

Dids has a point though. You don't even have to open it as the title indicates the fact that it is supposed to be somewhere else and as it already exists and all arguments in this thread have probably been argued ad nauseam in the other one as well, its an easy decision (albeit a bit late).

sounds great, sign me up! as i posted about before i've been having some severe back pain for months and months. it's actually been much better the past week, like night and day different. i'm down to taking 2 advil in the morning only and i do these stretches that they showed me at PT 2x/day which seems to be doing something. i've even had a few days here and there over the past week or so where i actually felt like nothing was wrong, which believe me is a very exciting thing when you spend months in pain and you're thinking it's gonna be that way for the rest of your life.

I lived that last sentence. Thought I was ruined for life. Legit bent 90 degrees when walking for a couple months. Could then realize how people with chronic pain often eat bullets.

I also think we should def 86 a thread with a couple hundred posts and a few thousand views. Just what sucky, watered down oot needs imo.
01-17-2014 , 01:26 PM
Will you at least concede to the point that removing it sooner would have been the right way ? At least you're not creating precedents that way.

pro mod move: leave the thread alone and ignore anyone who complains about it
01-17-2014 , 01:31 PM
I don't really care if the thread's there or not. Just as long as I don't get into trouble for calling people idiots and cheese grater fetishists in it.

Seems like we are good to go Sciolist.
01-17-2014 , 01:42 PM
just move the thread to PU imo
01-17-2014 , 01:52 PM
The thing about that thread that interests me is how proudly some of those people wear their cloak of stupidity. It amazes me that they apparently function out in the world.

(Present company excluded, of course...)
