Colombiana is guilty of this as well, and sometimes even worse. Last night for instance I'm trying to watch Episode 7 of Hannibal on Amazon when she decides it's a good time to call her seester.

"Hola Corroncha! Como estas!?!?"
"Can you please make that call in another room?"
"But I want to watch the show too!"
"But you're not watching it; you're on the phone."
"Pffft. Aye que grosero!"

When she sneaks into the bathroom while I'm showering and don't hear / see her until right after I rip one that echoes off the bathroom wall like the Tibetan Monks' chant.

"Que puerco!"

I'm also with a Colombiana. Have a feeling we might commiserate about many behaviors.

How about this. When she doesn't hear or understand you it's because you're mumbling, but when you don't understand her it's because you're not listening or paying attention. It's 100% anything besides her being ESL, that much we know for sure.

Wife has misplaced her glasses for the 2nd time in 4 days, gets super angry and keeps asking if I am sure that I didn't move them.

My wife misplaces everything everyday. Phone, keys, glasses tv remote. I can't understand how somebody can misplace and lose the same things day after day.

When she puts something on the stove to boil and doesn't max out the heat setting.
