Yes, but right now Lee is projected to peter out by mid-week. Maria, otoh, is currently forecast to slam into Puerto Rico as a Cat 3+ on Wednesday.

Lots of land interaction for Maria to survive if she stays that far south.

The euro has some interesting stuff happening 10 days out. Jose and Maria appear to tango in the middle of the Atlantic with Jose slingshotting towards the eastern seaboard. Long long ways out but that would certainly be an interesting event

Jose's track is going to look like one of those Family Circus cartoons.

You can keep it, thanks. From what I've read Portugal and Spain would take the hit then?

Looking like there could be several more. It's pretty much mid hurricane season and the Atlantic is really active right now. Theres 3 out there right now and two more alresdy looking to have a slight chance of forming off Africa. Who knows if another will hit the US but it's proving to be an active season

I almost vomited when I saw the hurricane track pop up on my phone, which was approx 3 hours after my power was restored yesterday

Official NOAA projections are starting to show Jose making that loop for another shot at the east coast.

Africa's tropical storm train is kicking ass this year. It's mesmerizing to watch loops of storm after storm seemingly fired out from Africa

According to the NHC, winds are now 160 mph. Should be a couple more updates tonight.

Most of the tracks for Maria show it heading out into the Atlantic again, but we know how quickly they can change...

Maybe this thread should just be called Hurricane Season 2017...

Dominica devastated. Their PM said they've "lost all that money can buy and replace."

BVI and Puerto Rico lined up next. BVI may never recover from two Cat5s in two weeks.
