# Hawaii franchises offer saimin on their regular menu. Spam or Portuguese sausage with eggs and white rice is offered as a breakfast item. A Spam McGriddle sandwich has also been offered as an LTO item. Pineapple and taro pies have also been occasionally offered on the regular menu, and pineapple is also sometimes available as an additional topping on burgers. Haupia pie was recently introduced in Hawaii locations as an LTO. In Waikiki locations, small trays of pineapple can be ordered as a side-dish.

They don't mention a teriyaki burger which is pretty delicious.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Athos

Though land-linked, Mount Athos is accessible only by boat. The daily number of visitors entering in Mount Athos is restricted and all are required to obtain a special entrance permit. Only males are allowed entrance into Mount Athos, which is called "Garden of the Virgin" by monks,[2] and Orthodox Christians take precedence in the permit issuance procedure. Only males over the age of 18 who are members of the Eastern Orthodox Church are allowed to live on Athos, either as monks or as workers. There are a small number of unarmed religious guards (Σερδάρηδες), who are not monks, to keep order. Police and Coast Guard presence is very discreet

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment

Quote:
The Milgram experiment on obedience to authority figures was a series of social psychology experiments conducted by Yale University psychologist Stanley Milgram, which measured the willingness of study participants to obey an authority figure who instructed them to perform acts that conflicted with their personal conscience.

The experiments began in July 1961, three months after the start of the trial of German Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in Jerusalem. Milgram devised his psychological study to answer the question: "Was it that Eichmann and his accomplices in the Holocaust had mutual intent, in at least with regard to the goals of the Holocaust?" In other words, "Was there a mutual sense of morality among those involved?" Milgram's testing suggested that it could have been that the millions of accomplices were merely following orders, despite violating their deepest moral beliefs.

Some folk lore...

The worm is the subject of a number of extraordinary claims by Mongolian locals - such as the ability of the worm to spew forth sulfuric acid that, on contact, will turn anything it touches yellow and corroded (and which would kill a human),[3] as well as its purported ability to kill at a distance by means of electric discharge.

99942 Apophis

Quote:
99942 Apophis (pronounced /əˈpɒfɪs/, previously known by its provisional designation 2004 MN4) is a near-Earth asteroid that caused a brief period of concern in December 2004 because initial observations indicated a small probability (up to 2.7%) that it would strike the Earth in 2029.
Torino Scale

Quote:
The Torino Scale is a method for categorizing the impact hazard associated with near-Earth objects (NEOs) such as asteroids and comets. It is intended as a tool for astronomers and the public to assess the seriousness of collision predictions, by combining probability statistics and known kinetic damage potentials into a single threat value.

The Wow! signal was a strong narrowband radio signal detected by Dr. Jerry R. Ehman on August 15, 1977, while working on a SETI project at The Big Ear radio telescope of Ohio State University.[1] The signal bore expected hallmarks of potential non-terrestrial and non-solar system origin. It lasted for a total of 72 seconds, the full duration Big Ear observed it, but has not been detected again

The poem, written in a hendecasyllabic (11-syllable) meter, was considered so explicit that a full English translation was not openly published until the late twentieth century.[1] The first line has been called "one of the filthiest expressions ever written in Latin — or in any other language, for that matter."[2]
Even if you don't like poetry at least you can have a mini latin lesson.

I think it doesn't really work if you want to insult one guy as I think "vos" stands for the plural form of "you". As I think it is used as an accusative here the correct singular form would be "te". Ego is just "I" and should stay the same. The two words ending in "-bo" are first person forms, I guess future, so they shouldn't change either. So against a single person just insert "te" for "vos". (I have some collegues who teach Latin, but I guess I don't want to ask them...)
