2009: Sergey Tuganov, a 28-year-old Russian, bet two women that he could continuously have sex with them both for twelve hours. Several minutes after winning the $4,300 bet, he suffered a heart attack and died. It is believed that the heart attack was the result of Tuganov ingesting an entire bottle of Viagra just after accepting the bet.[159]

I don't get how fighting bribe allegations is sticking it to the man, but pretty crazy suicide there. And:

Glozel is probably best known as the place where, from 1924 to 1930, over 3,000 artifacts were discovered, including clay tablets, sculptures and vases, some of which were inscribed with symbols or letters.

Variously dated to Neolithic, Iron Age and Medieval times, the finds initiated a series of claims, counterclaims and heated debates among French archaeologists. Initially, many experts argued in favor of a hoax, but advanced testing from later decades confirmed that many of the Glozel artifacts were most likely of genuine antiquity.

In one August 16, 1951 incident, CIA operatives added LSD to bread sold by a bakery in Pont-Saint-Esprit, a small village in the south of France. Local residents, including children and the elderly, unwittingly consumed the bread, which resulted in mass hysteria, many injuries, commitments to mental asylums, and at least five deaths. To this day those who experienced "Le Pain Maudit" (The Cursed Bread) remember the terror that seized the town following this incident

One of the craziest things about Unit 731 is the fact that all those doctors who did all those inexcusable things are now the heads of ALL the hospitals and medical schools in Japan.

Let's see: the war ended 65 years ago, so the doctors would be 100 or so. What's the retirement age in Japan?
