I noticed that my dissection of comedy posts were starting to derail the thread, so I started another thread "Talking Funny". I have an open question to you and Noodle over there. Also, encouraged people to come here and vote for you. On the brightside my over-posting in this thread helped keep it on page 1 and more people have seen it. It was just a guy telling a boring story about an audition. There literally wasn't a joke in it at all. Was I supposed to laugh at some point? I have no idea which part of it was supposed to be funny, if any?

I finally watched Leonids video (well 58 seconds of it).....

I think the humor is supposed to be how he says "super" very enthusiastically but then at the end when whatever happens (I forget the story and I'm not gonna watch it again) is not so awesome, his "super" becomes much more toned down and unsure of itself.

Okay now some news:

Brag: I just got accepted to the Maine Comedy Festival, my first festival acceptance.

Beat: The dates don't work because they would be the same time as the festival that I'd get to perform at if I win this contest, and they are requiring all comics to get to the resort 3 days before any shows start for activities. That sounds fun, but I can't take a week off of work for 2 nights of shows in Maine.
