I hardly believe this company and its executives just decided for no reasoning and with no interaction with you to just shut you down.
Are you a registered non-profit? Your cause is great but doesn’t cure anything except perhaps depression, is this made clear when you’re raising money?
How much money raised is going toward flying the people and how much is going into running the charity and your own living expenses?
I have to assume that if your “foundation” was truly registered and beneficial for iFly they would want to partner up and increase their business while showing that they are a caring company that is all inclusive.
People generally want to associate and partner with those that will be a net positive for them - why do you think they have seen you and your work as a net negative or liability for them? I would guess you know the answer you just have yet to share it here.
100% of the money donated went directly to iFLY, including a good chunk that I donated myself. You are also reading too much into the name, it was ment to be general and all inclusive. Obviously flying in the tunnel is not going to cure anyone from their disability. However it did give them an experience that they may not have though possible before. As far as liability, iFLY allows individuals with many different disabilities to fly. If you read carefully you will see that. It’s not an idea that I started, I simply took what was already being done and expanded on it and also raised money to offer my coaching for free to families who may otherwise not have afforded to do so. As for this thread, I will go ahead and delete it as clearly it is not welcome here.
