The point was JFK's assassination wasn't in the same category as these two obviously solved "mysteries."

What I got from skimming Wikipedia:

Nazis loot their victims in WWII, trade gold to overseas banks in exchange for currency, at the end of the war people realize a bunch of the gold is missing.

I got one of those, too. It made me feel special at the time, but knowing he did it with other people makes me feel a little dirty

What happened at Dyatlov Pass on February 2, 1959.

That or whether any of the three people who escaped Alcatraz and were never seen again got away or just drowned. (In a separate incident, one guy made it to shore, but ended up at the hospital due to hypothermia and was recaptured.)

Then I'll ask you guys about all the other stuff you mentioned here.

Obviously, Was Jesus divine? or Does any current government have evidence of extraterrestrial life? are two biggies. Do I get incontrovertible evidence that I can use to definitively end all debate about either question? Or do I just get private confirmation for my own personal knowledge? This plays into my choice.

But, for just random weirdness, how about a translation of this: The Voynich Manuscript

I'd want to know who wrote (or took the initiative to write) the bible. This guy created the greatest scam ever, he deserves a statue.

This is better than asking whether or not Jesus had superpowers imo.

Per Wikipedia:

Yuri Yudin, the sole survivor of the expedition [he left the group at the last settlement before Kholat Sykhal* due to sickness] has stated, "If I had a chance to ask God just one question, it would be, 'What really happened to my friends that night?'"

*The mountain where the group died. Means "Death Mountain," of all things.

i dont get why people so quickly dismiss 9/11 suspicions. gulf of tonkin incident was literally made up to get the country behind the vietnam war. "project northwoods" was a plan by the US gov to make fake domestic terrorist attacks to get the ppl behind a war vs cuba. it never happened but it was a legitimate plan. (you can look both of these up. they are not conspiracy theories, they are simply facts). Im not saying that 9/11 was necessarily suspicious, but it wouldnt be unprecedented and it certainly deserves some scrutiny given all of the coincidences and anomalies that are related to those attacks.
