Usually I can puzzle out the particular brand of ******ation behind these things, but I'm lost here. If I don't trust god to dole out a blessing, why would I stop spending money / making my own "blessings"? What is going on? Is this some newfangled promise keepers bull****?

Misspellings in status updates really get my goat. One of my friends wrote "sloo of wedding dresses" instead of "slew of wedding dresses". This is an egregious mistake but I don't think I should correct it b/c I'm not really friends with this girl IRL. She is the sister of a girl I dated in high school.
