"its been a year and a half since I feel in love.....I CANT get these shoes out of my mind! After being seperated for so long..i found them again at nordstroms . I HAVE to have them :/"
Perhaps more annoying than stupid status posts is the recent trend of "liking" dozens of trite phrases that apparently reflect your mood. These are often accompanied by a change in relationship status.
eg Stupid Woman Likes..
"If you want me in your life, figure out a way to put me there. I'm done trying." "I met you. I got to know you. I liked you. You're such a dick." "All men are bastards"
Stupid Woman is now single
Vague/attention-whoring status updates are so damn annoying. I'd much prefer to see "Hey I'm bored, talk to me!"
The normal boobs ( . )( . ), the silicone boobs ( + )( + ), the perfect boobs (o)(o) Some boobs are cold (^)(^), and some boobs belong to grandmothers \./\./ And let’s not forget the very large boobs (o Y o), and very small boobs (.)(.), al boobs (•)(.). We love them all!. Post this message on your wall and say ┌П┐(_)┌П┐ to breast cancer. Save the boobies!!!
From my aunt, I really want to go for the awkward 'like'.
Foodography might be the worst think that the internet/social media has brought us. I'm not exactly sure why, but it just tilts the hell out of me. It's like attention whoring but not even about anything anyone cares about.
Uh oh. I think I'll amend my position then: It's acceptable if it's something cool that you made (like the bacon rings thread), but posting pics of something you just got at a restaurant is really annoying.
is there a fb mobile app or something that automatically likes your own status when you post it? i feel like i see way too many people liking their own thing for it to all be done intentionally

Meh, I usually find it interesting. Just like most things on Facebook the key is moderation.

If you're going to a really awesome restaurant (El Bulli, French Laundry, etc) I think food pics are cool. Pics of your appetizer at Applebees aren't.
a lot of people think she was murdered. anyway a lot of great people died young sad and lonely not that i am a monroe fan or anything but quoting her isnt worse or better then quoting any other random prominent preson.

isn't taking pics at a fancy restaurant really unballer? I can't imagine whipping out my phone at a nice dinner but I guess its one of those things nobody else would care about

Of all the annoying sh*t people post on facebook how can you even say Foodography is the worst? If anything it's probably one of the better things people do on facebook. Seriously, how can you even compare it to mommyjacking or pregnant belly photos?
The recent trend of "Checking in" has become pretty annoying. They should turn the thing off. I get check in updates on my newsfeed when someone goes to another state.
If you're going to post food pictures, especially ones whoring out a restaurant tangentially affiliated to you, can you NOT USE INSTRAGRAM OR HIPSTER'MATIC.
Seriously you're eating a wad of wet kleenex with a carrot on it? I think?

"Malissa checked in at Missouri"
Many of my friends have given their own ****ing homes identities for checking in, "Home Sweet Home" etc, tilts me like crazy
