Foodography might be the worst think that the internet/social media has brought us. I'm not exactly sure why, but it just tilts the hell out of me. It's like attention whoring but not even about anything anyone cares about.

Uh oh. I think I'll amend my position then: It's acceptable if it's something cool that you made (like the bacon rings thread), but posting pics of something you just got at a restaurant is really annoying.

The recent trend of "Checking in" has become pretty annoying. They should turn the thing off. I get check in updates on my newsfeed when someone goes to another state.
