As far as I know it's required by law for bicyclists to ride on the right side of the white line or as far to the right as possible if there isn't a white line so they don't impede traffic like douchebags.

I rock a messenger bag, makes a day out so much easier. Day at the movies? Couple bottles of water, spare batteries for my phone, tablet for commute, light jacket if it gets cold.

drivers arent really aware of what obvious dangers are to a cyclist, so there is a decent % of the time you are in the road and everyone is butthurt, when you are doing the absolute correct thing, and they have no idea why.

Now there are a lot of stupid and or ******* cyclists, same way as there are a lot of stupid and or ******* drivers. Problem is that everyone just automatically assumes a cyclist is an ******* simply because hes on a bicycle and not riding in the gutter.

well its good to know you are looking out for glass on the side of the road, aware of when doorings are a potential danger, thinking about how wide the lane is in relation to traffic coming the other way, and line of sight for people turning off of side streets. Most people arent tho, they are just riding in their car, babbling on the phone and bitching cuz they see a bike in their lane,
