How often? On my newsfeed some people are updating their statuses at least once every 6 hours or so. I think once every other day is good but if you're doing interesting things that your friends can relate to in some way I guess daily is fine. I get tilted when people tell me every little thing about their lives - I don't care that you went to the grocery store.. And you need to get over whatever the "it" is that you supposedly can't take anymore, or at least keep it off FB, you little attention-whoring prima donna.

These seem mostly fine. One of the biggest things with Facebook is moderation. If you're updating your status 10 times a day, it doesn't matter what you're writing about - you're failing.

Most of those are females that hyphenate their maiden name for the reasons you stated.
