Is this an objection to the candidate addressing their comments to the moderator/audience instead of speaking directly to the opponent? Or did the person who wrote it think 'speaking in the 3rd person' means 'using the person's name instead of a pronoun' or something? Or does it mean referring to themselves in the third person while addressing their opponent? I'm very confused.

It's standard in political debates to put on a mask of the opposing candidate and try to parody their position into oblivion in the first person, so I guess they mean eschewing this practice and simply talking about the opponent instead.

How in the hell r song artist and movie stars making more money then the military??? Us military is fighting for this country while stars r making movies that r getting U.S. Gov.
