This girl's mom passed away on New Year's Day after succumbing to cancer at the age of 58. She posted about that when it happened. Today she posted this, which isn't so bad....

"REALLY missing my mom today. Hopefully I will get more stuff done tomorrow. Until then, I am staying in bed, snuggling with my dogs, and watching crappy reality tv. Well. At least I no longer have split ends. But I still wish my mom was around to watch Part 2 of Grey's tonight with me "
