I've really had enough. Try as I might to avoid a post of this nature, a conversation with a woman I value and respect more than myself prompted me to look at "my" faith based life and KNOW that I have to say this. To every woman that wants to talk about abuse being negated because it was decades ago, to every bunch of "sisters" at the workplace that should be earning their keep and not judging something they have no knowledge of, to every group of yacking women that want to speak within another human being's earshot about recollections not their own (not just another woman, because men are molested also), STFU. Seriously. We aren't burning anything but you may push some of us over the edge. Thank the stars and Gods that you are fortunate enough not to carry the burden of sexual abuse. Thank Allah and Trump and whomever you wish that your children and grandchildren were spared. MANY WERE NOT. I liken this to morons that use the "R" word. No different. I won't be silent any longer. SHUT UP. This is not a political issue. It's no secret how I feel about the President. This is about being a human effing being. It's not time to "get over" anything. Don't get me wrong, it's an awful rant and an awful status, but her message isn't anything crazy

I’m not a parent, but aren’t chicken pox parties a real thing? I’ve heard of lots of parents doing that to ensure that their kids contract it young.

Yes they're a thing 30 years ago before we nearly eradicated chicken pox with vaccinations. The next generation will only contract the disease if their parents are negligent dummies. In a few years of public vaccination Ontario's rate of doctors visits for pox went from 25/1000 to 3/1000 and it continues to drop.
