Generally speaking, That is an average American. Living, loving and staying in their small town. Focused on what happens in and affects their small area and applying those feelings to the rest of their giant nation.
On a larger scale it's pretty much how Californians act about everything all the time.
However on a personal scale when i think of some ultra sheltered white kid in idk Bloomington, Indiana posting on the Internet about slavery when their knowledge base is likely the half-ass attention they paid in 10th grade US History and their opinion set is (in my limited experience) has been witnessed to be "black people were slaves a long time ago, it sucks. Get over it."
I don't even want to start to take time bothering with that generation. That's what I was specifically saying.
