I need to gripe, and this thread is the place to do it.

Facebook posts from people who barely care about sports, preaching how to be a "real" sports fan are aggravating me to levels I never thought possible.

I live near Philadelphia and obviously there are a lot of Eagles posts because they suck but should be winning.

So, then I see people making posts that basically say "A lot of people are saying they're going to stop watching the Eagles. I thought real fans support their team through the good and bad". And it's coming from people who hate football. Then all these other people who don't care about sports like it and comment how much they agree. The poster is a Phillies fan that only started caring about baseball when they got good a few years ago. I just won't fb comment to call him out on it because he's a good friend, so I'm posting about it here instead.

Well, we could pay them minimum wage (£ 6.90), and just to be fair, round it off to £ 7.00 an hour. That would be £ 7.00 X 71/2 hours X 32 children X 180 days = £ 302,400.00 per year. Wait a minute -- there's something wrong here! There sure is! The average teacher's salary (nationwide) is £ 25,000.00/180 days = £ 138.90 per day/ 32 children = £ 4.34 / 7 1/2 hours = £ 0.58 per hour per student--a very inexpensive babysitter and they even EDUCATE your kids!) WHAT A DEAL!!!! Make a teacher smile (or cry!); repost this to show appreciation for they do! X x x"
