That doesn't really have anything to do with being pregnant, you're just comparing successful 30 year olds with 19 year old girls who are blogging. Pongo sure does look smug in that avatar though.

i might have misunderstood his post but he was comparing 2 sets of 30 year olds. 1 set who's only accomplishment is getting pregnant(pregnant at a young age). The 2nd set has children but successful in other aspects of life as well.

...we are trying to guess an over/under on what she will weight before she drops the kids.. i say 375.

FWIW she got pregnant years ago and immediately told the world and didnt wait the 3months or whatever then lost the baby and 6 months later people were still congratulating her and asking her when she was due

I really want to have kids but I am absolutely ****ing terrified that I will be surrounded by people like this and eventually turn into one. It's happened to my older brothers to some extent and it's scary to watch in slow motion -one day making fart jokes and getting drunk and playing in a band, a few years later being super stressed about getting your kid to baby yoga on time.

One girl on my FB use to have word and definitions of the day. I hide her status updates and this thread made me wonder if she still did them. (I checked out of curiousity)

I have to agree with those who say the everyday mundane updates are annoying. who cares if you are going doing laundry or making dinner?

I don't have that big of an issues with most updates. Some people are attention whores and but nothing that is so annoying. But on the other hand, the emo stuff that appears on my FB seems to be nothing relative to what those ITT post.
