It's weird that they got rid of the + operator, but I guess you can do a verbatim search now if you're looking for the same thing?

It is related to Facebook trying to get you to log in so they can monitor your Chrome usage and track you. They don't allow you to simply say "no". Instead, your only option is "OK" or "Not Now". If you go with the "Not Now", they never stop asking you. They are trying to wear you down with what is effectively a nag screen since they never let you simply say no. The nag never permanently goes away unless you agree to it with "OK".

No, I've never used them and Google never has a problem finding what I want. Even if I'm trying to find a clip of a TV show or movie on YouTube I just start typing in random lines from it, without quotes, and they always find exactly what I'm looking for.

In the instance I was commenting on using the quotes did in fact only produce one hit to a page that was not in English. When I tried searching without quotes it turned up page after page after page of exactly what he was looking for.
