Will try the coconut later tonight. I couldn't resist trying the SSC as soon as I got home and it lives up to the hype. Definitely in my top 3-4.

Something about this pricing doesn't sound right - a pine of ice cream at my Whole Foods is 8.99 or 9.99 (can't remember exactly).

Sick deal on Talenti starting tomorrow at Stop and Shop. 2 for $8 and then when you buy $25 worth you get $10 off instantly so 7 pints for $18. If you score some coupons it gets even better. They got Ben and Jerry's 2 for $7 too.

BTW, the Boston area consistently has the best ice cream in the country. Although, I just had the best frozen custard at Abbotts in Yorktown, NY and they will run custom flavor pints for customers at no extra cost.

I think I seen it the other day midas. Have you tried the flavor locator? Should tell you who has it in stock in your area.

I've been wanting to try Talenti for a while now, solely due to this thread. So I finally get to a store that I know carries it, and I see 7 or 8 flavors, BUT THE ****ERS ARE OUT OF SEA SALT CARAMEL!

Sigh, gotta wait a bit more to try what's being touted as the GOAT ice cream here (store-bought).

I tried the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip, and it was very good, but not fantastic. On first bite, it had a pleasant taste, but almost needed a bit more flavor. However, that made it easy to keep going, and in fact, hard to stop. So after a while, the flavor was better, and I quite enjoyed it. Not top tier, but very good.

Agree with everyone that the jar, screw-on lid, and labeling are top-notch, and make you feel richer as you eat it.

Came across this article about their origins, seems that it's only been available in most places for a couple years, and their start as a single gelato stand was less than a decade ago. Pretty fast growth and expansion.

I'll try to get pics tomorrow. Just busted a tournament and drowned my sorrows in the three flavor (three scoops of each flavor) large bowl of gelato for €3. Wasn't thinking about getting pics, only trying to eat as fast as possible without getting brain freeze.

Sweet huh? Was hanging on slickdeals one day learning bout coupons and **** and started reading a thread about one of the markets near my house. Anyways fries were on sale for 10 for $10 but if you bought em in multiples of 3 the self check out would knock $2.97 off the total making em $.01 each. Wound up getting like 60 boxes haha.

sf, I want your freezer. If your ice cream-picking ability is any indication of your overall frozen food-picking ability, I may have to give those Easy Fries a shot.
