ugh damnit it now i feel bad about canceling....she was so excited to ship it to me and i was so stoked in my email to get it etc...but ya once i saw how much it was i started to think it was prolly not worth it.

sigh i am not looking forward to canceling, ESP if she comes back and says she'll throw in the last 3 pints for free.
if she does that i may just have to bite the bullet and spend the $ as i'll feel way to ****ty canceling after such a nice gesture.

The Sea Salt Caramel is pretty good, but a little too sweet for my taste. I also like more sea salt than this, but I know how to fix that quite easily. Looking forward to drizzling some balsamic over a bowl of the strawberry. Pistachio is definitely my favorite so far, though.

Also saw this today:


$11.99/pint! Apparently it is made from nuts instead of dairy. Like, the vanilla is made from cashews. Not sure about this stuff, but I'm intrigued by the idea of pistachio gelato made from pistachio nuts.

Talenti strawberry + balsamic = incredible. I bet that would be good even with pretty cheap balsamic.

$22. Drove around to 3 different stores to take advantage of the sale/stock up on Mint Chocolate Cookie and Chocolate Therapy. Unfortunately between the 3 stores there were zero pints of Mint Cookie and only 9 Chocolate Therapy. Grabbed the Cinnamon Buns just cuz I had to grab something to get the $4 off. Had it before. It's ok but I will just pawn it off on my moms boyfriend so he will watch my dog this weekend so I can go camping.

Shoulda seen me though. I had a cooler in my passenger seat with the ac on blast doing like 90 down the freeway. If I got stopped I was gonna say I had a heart in the cooler lol.

Well I'm currently on a diet trying to shed a lil bit of weight and told myself I wasn't gonna touch em for atleast a month. I know I could make room in the diet for some here and there but I can't sit down and not eat a pint of Chocolate Therapy in one session. Ain't gonna happen so I need to stay away for a few.

Only reason I stocked up was cuz they were $2.20 a pint after all the math/discounts. Can't pass that up. I woulda bought 50 pints if they had what I wanted.

Holy crap Talenti Coconut is incredible. Bits of real coconut throughout. Utterly fantastic.

Just realized there is a Ben + Jerry's Scoop Shop in the NH town I am going camping. Wonder if I got a quart of Coconut Seven Layer Bar and put it on ice if it would last a lil over an hour for the ride home?

Quick note: I really like Sweet Rose Creamery in LA. I probably like it more than Bi-Rite.

Gotta say it's depressing as hell to see all this ice cream that I would have to drive hundreds of miles to have a chance at buying.

On the other hand, I just bought an ice-cream maker, so at least I can screw around with my own recipes.

Just discovered Talenti in the last couple weeks. Thought Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup was outstanding and the Mint Choc Chip was real good. Thanks for the Sea Salt Caramel recommendations - will try it if it is available here.

Bump for 2 for $7 Talenti at Meijer right now. Excited that i finally get to try out the Sea Salt carmel. Picked up carribean coconut as the 2nd.

Sick deal. I scored 20 $1 off/pint coupons on ebay($1 shipped!) that would match up nicely. Too bad that chain isn't here in MA. Stop and Shop jacked the prices back up to $4.99 so I'm waiting for it to go back on sale. Hopefully soon.

My neighbor asked me to pick him up a couple pints of Talenti to try the other day when I went to the market. He wanted the Mediterranean Mint and I told him he needed to try Sea Salt Caramel too. Shot him a text later that night to see what he thought and he thought the SSC was too "thick" but it was good. Told me I could have the rest of his pints since he always scoops into cones and doesn't eat out of the pint. I told him to ship em and got bout 1/2 pint of each. Took a bite of SSC for the first time in like 6 weeks...unreal. I don't think there is anything better.

I was in the ice cream aisle today and decided to grab a pint of Stop and Shop Brand Party On! ice cream. I was sold when I seen the photo with real yellow cake bits in the ice cream. Ate a scoop of it today and its damn good for $2.50. The cake bits are nice and soft. Think I'll have another scoop later.
