I've seen Talenti's Toasted Almond mentioned ITT but not any reviews yet. I finally got around to trying it, and it was fantastic! One of their best that I've had, absolutely loved it. Flavor was perfect, not too strong, not too light. Almond bits with occasional whole almonds were great additions to the texture. It gives SSC a run for its money, in my book.

(Sidenote: almond butter is even tastier than peanut butter imo. If you haven't yet, try an AB&J sandwich instead of PB&J sometime.)

Today I called Publix, Sweetbay, Target, Whole Foods and Fresh Market looking for Egg Nog. None of them carry it, so I finally emailed Talenti and am awaiting a response. Why'd you leave 2 behind?

I'm gonna try this flavor this weekend. They sell it across the street from work. I eat almonds daily... close in rank to SSC, huh?

This thread has got me trying a bunch of new locations for grocery shopping. I live 20 miles from work, so there are a lot of options on the way home.

finally tried some talenti (vanilla). i thought the flavor was great but there was too much overrun (air whipped into it). so i got some haagen dazs, which i hadn't had for at least a year and found out they completely changed their recipe and have even more air than talenti now. wtf! hd used to be the best because it was so dense and creamy. bah!

I thought gelato always had lest air than ice cream.

I picked up some banna chocolate swirl.

Plenty of delicious eggnog. So far I've only had Eggnog (A+), Pistachio (A+), Mediterranean Mint (A), Chocolate Chip straciatella (B), and Sea Salt Caramel (A+).

I'm particularly interested in Coffee Choc Chip, Banana Chocolate Swirl, Raspberry Choc Chip, Toasted Almond, Caramel Cookie Crunch, and Belgian Milk Chocolate. Any big favorites in that group?

So I was all set to pick up another pint of Talenti Eggnog, then came across this:



Straus ice cream is awesome, so I had to give this a try. So now I have two pints of Straus eggnog ice cream. It's OK, but not great. Doesn't hold a candle to the Talenti eggnog or other Straus flavors.

What store is that El D? Caramel Cookie Crunch was alright. I have it in the freezer to rescoop but haven't got around to it. Also have Black Raspberry Chocolate chip in the freezer too but haven't tried it yet. Really interested in those E sorbettos in the top left.


Anyone want 3 $1 off Talenti coupons? I'm not gonna get around to using them and the expire on the 31st. I'll ship em to the first person to send me their address in a pm.

I received a response regarding my Egg Nog inquiry.

I'm interested to see what they ship over. Now I can't find Egg Nog or Toasted Almond anywhere.

Their customer service is top notch. Wouldn't be surprised if you get a couple free pint coupons.

This is actually the only Talenti I've tried and it's frankly pretty disappointing. I find the raspberry flavor quite subdued and insufficiently sour.

Picked up 2 Toasted Almonds today. Took one to town. Nothing special... pistachio and SSC ftw. I wanna find a blood orange next.

Not only did they have a whole row of eggnog at the store today, they also had extra ones lined up in the back of the next row.

But I may have stumbled upon something better. I went to another grocery store this week and found a limited edition flavor that not only has yet to be mentioned ITT, I can't find it mentioned anywhere on the interweb.

Killed a pint of Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Buns over this past week. Didn't like it at first when I tried it months ago but after a rescoop its now one of my favorites.
