I sure hope my roommate likes tin foil
My roommate is in India for 6 weeks, so yesterday me and some friends decided it would be a good idea to spend the day getting drunk and wrapping absolutely everything in his room in tin foil. And by everything, I mean everything, walls, ceiling, every scrap of trash, EVERYTHING.
I cant find the before pictures, but here's a video of the room before (friend is running camera)
(youtube) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5_ICrqWBkc
(direct, better reso) http://www.idspispopd.net/foil/begining.avi
Here be some pics as the room develops
the desk
the bed
dresser with dirty clothes and crap on floor
TV
more desk
almost done!!!
and here is the finished product, 10 hours, 26 rolls of aluminum foil (over 1650 sq ft), and a ton of alcohol later
the back of his computer and desk
looking down on his desk with TV and stuff in background
his dresser in background with bunch of junk in foreground
another shot of desk
his bed
edge of bed on left, dresser on right
desk head on
TV with good shot of walls and ceiling
and here's a video of the finished product

Re: I sure hope my roommate likes tin foil
That's awesome. So he's going to travel like 24 hours to get back home, stumble into your place wanting to do nothing but crash, and walk into that room? You better hope he's not creative and ambitious.

heh yeah, I cant decide if Id be better of being out of town when he gets back or not. On one hand I avoid his wrath, but on the other I leave myself completely defenseless to a counter attack

You are 100% required to be there, partially to take any immediate medicine he's handing out but mostly to see the look on his face.

I'm at work right now (obviously procrastinating) and this somehow inspires me to be productive! TY, Alobar.

Re: I sure hope my roommate likes tin foil
lol, that is f'in awesome.
In the course of your wrapping things up, did you find and/or wrap up any porn or sex items? It's always tricky hiding those from roommates.

Re: I sure hope my roommate likes tin foil
I used to love some local funk band that was full of stoners. They did one show where they were dressed entirely in tin-foil that was super-awesome and hilarious.
You guys should dress yourselves entirely in tin-foil for when your rommie comes back. Either sit in his room awaiting his arrival. Or hang out in the living room watching TV just acting like everything is normal.

Hanging in the living room would be funny. He's like wtf? Then when he walks into his room BAM!

The tinfoil is bizarre, but MicroBob makes a good point. Got to take the final step.
What possessed you to do this in the first place?????

Re: I sure hope my roommate likes tin foil
Now you just need to fill it with foil wrapped balloons and you're all set.
