I work in an office/warehouse and am one of the first people in each morning. Earlier this week I get in, print a couple reports and grab them off the printer along with some reports that print overnight and start separating them and notice two colored pictures along with the nightly reports...and they are of a coworker who was the last person in the building the previous night.

My first thought was did she forget she printed them? Or did she maybe print more copies than she thought, and these printed out after she grabbed what she thought was all of them? She has been working from home all but one day a week as has most of the office personnel so she didn't come in the day I found the pics. I have no idea if she is sweating knowing she forgot to grab the pics, or if she thinks she got them and there is no issue in her mind.

More details- me late 50's, her likely early 40's, her face is a 3 but body is a 8. The pics were selfies taken from above in a shower so boobies but no bush. She is not an enemy at work but not a friend either. Her half-sister works there also and I work with her more closely.

Did I-

Shred them and say nothing to her or anyone

Ping her to ask her if she might have left anything on the printer

Tell either my boss or HR

Ping her sister to ask if she might reach out to her and ask if she left something on the printer

Call my wife to ask a woman's perspective on how to proceed

I would never say anything about it and don't think it's close. As for keep vs shred, depends on obvious factors.

I immediately - instinctively? - disagreed, but as I thought about it more, I think this is right. If she knows she ****ed up, wouldn't she rush into the office to get them? If for whatever reason she can't, she gets some time period of anxiety, wondering when the other shoe drops. But if it never does, she gets back to normal. My immediate thought, which was shredding them and showing her evidence, means she gets immediate relief but then possibly a lifetime of low-grade worry and anxiousness or anxiety any time she deals with you. If they just go poof, and she never hears about it, if she's even aware she made a mistake she can just talk herself into there being a technical glitch and gaslight herself into believing it never even happened.

Keeping them is super-scuzzy, though.

Trash them. No need for any of the options, fapping to a 40 year olf with an ugly face seems like a waste of time.

Either way, shred and don't say anything. Unless she asks if you found something on the printer. Then just smile and say, "Just someones personal stuff. I shredded it". Then wink.

wtf at anybody who does anything not involving saying nothing.....the only reason you would ever bring it up is because it could lead to sex, which maybe is her intent, because who the **** prints out nudes? That's an even bigger wtf than asking her sister or taking it to HR.
