We should do a Masters pool. Something simple like 6 tiers of golfers based on draftkings salary or westgate odds, pick one from each and drop highest scoring golfer at the end. Any golfer who misses the cut scores highest carded round for 3rd and 4th day. Lowest combined 5 scores wins.

Masters Championship Hunchcap Pool 2018: Year of the Tiger

Select one golfer from each of the following tiers and list them all in an individual post, along with a prediction for the winning score to be used as a tiebreaker. Odds are for reference purposes only and have no bearing on the outcome (odds current as of 3/26 from sportsbook.ag) Entrants are responsible for being aware of withdrawals and changes can be made until the first golfer hits the first tee (must be in the form of a clearly labeled new post with your updated complete list).

Any golfer who misses the cut will be scored with the highest carded round from the 3rd and 4th round. For example, if you pick Henrik Stenson and he misses the cut, for round 3 he will receive the highest score in the clubhouse for that day's round. The same applies to round 4.

At the end of the tournament, each entrant’s lowest 5/6 scores will be added together with the lowest score winning. 2nd or 3rd payouts tbd based on number of entrants. Buyin will be 50?? with anyone unknown requiring a vouch or escrow.

I think that would make the payouts annoyingly uneven but if others like the idea then cool. Plenty of time to hammer out anything like that before the tournament.

What is the thinking behind 5/6 rather than 6/6? Seems odd to have a mulligan in a major. No strong feelings about it; just curious.

Will DQ and WD be scored the same as MCs? Or ??? Perhaps that is a good justification for 5/6.

It’s just to keep your sweat alive if one of your golfers starts hitting balls in the hazards left and right.

Good question, my thought would be dq’s scored as MC, pre tournament withdrawal scored as zero and mid round withdrawals same as MC. Open to suggestions in everything though obv.
