I can't understand why anyone would say they hate Eric the Midget, or that they hate Lisa G, or whomever...

...but I really, really hate Benjy.

Pretty sure he talks around Gina Gershon as one. Also think Amanda Peet turned him down because he's just brutal anytime her name is mentioned.

I don't get the whole merger thing. Are they staying with seperate programing? Am I going to be able to get baseball games on my sirius radio or not? I only heard a little of the discussion this morning.

love benjy, getting pissed at the News department lately, and their lack of understanding that they are a joke. And that whole Ventura inspired conspiracy ridden political discussion on the wrapup show was so annoying and uninformative.

Sal's "I pissed on a girl " should be getting played three times a show..

I'm a pretty big fan of the eric the midget content of the show, he's always guaranteed to be confrontational, and won't stop calling despite the abuse because he loves the attention. Johnny Frado's exploitation of him makes it that much better.

If you do nothing, you get the same old programming for the same old price.

In the coming months, they'll make some XM programming available to Sirius subscribers (and vice-verse), for an extra $4.99/month. I wouldn't expect to get any baseball this season; I fully expect to have baseball on my current Sirius receiver by the start of next season.

Of course, I don't know any more about this merger than you do--that's just how I interpreted Mel's interview today.

Before the finalists were even announced, I picked the exacta!

Despite this, I don't think the Blues Brothers and Law/Order songs got enough love. I was glad they made the finals, I thought they belonged there.

I'm not sure about either of these above, but he was confirmed involved with Angie Everhart and Robin Givens after his marriage broke up.

Fratto setup ETM to go to some wrestling show, ETM was supposed to do some type of backstage meet and greet and try to ask the wrestlers come on his webshow. Apparently ETM didn't live up to any of Fratto's stipulations, he then also sent a bill to Fratto for his expenses and time. The bill was over 8k and it included stuff like a PT Cruiser car rental at $150 a day, $30/hr for his time charging Fratto even for the time he was sleeping in the hotel room...etc. etc.

I think the whole thing was just a setup to get more air time on the show personally. Fratto loves to egg on ETM delusions of grandeur and confrontational side to get more show time and drive more people to that stupid cam site that is full of revenue generating banners/ads.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I used to go to the cam site just to **** with the little midget jerk. So I guess it works.

Amanda Peet is very very very very very very dumb, and she's very very very very very very very stupid, not to mention she's very very very very very very very very very unintelligent.

Surprised at no mention here of Robin getting dumped by Florentine. I missed Monday's show and was pretty shocked to hear it yesterday. I felt bad for her.

I read the recap on the official show site, and it looked like even though she tried to take the high-road, she nonetheless felt like she got ****ed over. I got the impression that she felt as though he had been playing games and jerking her around the last couple of months.

BTW, listening to Benji is like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard.

I wasn't surprised when she revealed they broke up, I thought the whole thing was a work on his part in the first place. Which is probably a bad idea on his part, because now I think his chance of getting air time is ZERO POINT ZERO.

It sucks that they broke up, but I can't blame him. Jim seems like a pretty normal guy, and she's old, boring, and annoying. I'm sure he just got tired of pretending like he was enjoying vegan food, art museums, and the opera.

I thought the super mario bros. baba bouey song parody should have taken the cake.

what was an ostensibly reasonable, down to earth cat doing with robin anyway? who knows why people do the things they do.

They were both on the rebound. Florentine shaking off his girlfriend's suicide, and Robin still reeling from the break-up with Mr X. It had no chance to last.

OMG, I can't believe I'm discussing this sort of gossip. Just put a dress on me right now.

Speaking of "I can't believe", how did they let Eric the Midget boast about his 3.12 GPA without finding a way to play ZERO POINT ZERO?

And I can't believe I only caught the last 30 minutes of the hour+ Jesse Ventura interview.

I just caught up to that segment, and I thought the same thing...I was amazed that Fred didn't play it. Artie even started to make a comment that I thought was going to lead straight into "ZERO POINT ZERO," but he went in a completely different direction.

Pamela Anderson is just horrible. As a caller to the wrap up show said, Howard is the only person in the world who still cares about her.

Artie's publicist confirmed he checked into a outpatient rehab program, and is why he canceled all appearances over the break.

Wow. I hadn't heard this, but I can't say I'm surprised...he was so out of it the last few days that it makes sense. I was just listening to the Thursday WUS this morning, and a caller commented on how much of a mess he was after falling asleep at the beginning of the show and basically being non-existent during all three interviews.

I really wish they'd give a better update, but all it really says is that he entered rehab. It doesn't mention heroin, though I'd guess that's what he was using.

I think his problem is more like his food and alcohol addiction. He has just substituted that stuff for the heroin and cocaine.

A friend of mine saw him out just in a social manner during football seasons at a bar in Jersey and he said Artie was pounding drinks, and the end of the games he was soused. Locals at that bar said he does it all the time.
