I love when he rings his bell and yells “Brad”. It’s hilarious and always makes me laugh.
100% just ringing that bell and shouting BRAD!!! always makes me giggle. it's like yucko's clown horn, the timing always hits

Haha when I look at the Reddit stern thread, people complain and say the George takei bit sucks so that is why I’m shocked someone else likes it.

I like Ronnie the limo driver a lot also. Whenever he’s on the show….it becomes more entertaining.

Emily Ratikowski: Another awful interview (admittedly only listened for 10 mins)

last appearance by Gilbert. some say it's because he was banned for molesting a couple of cupcakes. i say it's because he and Artie hijacked the show and Howard is quite fond of being on control, so to say.

quite the **** show! i found it funny though.

he was furious but kept his anger and frustration to himself the best he could (not very well obviously - it's Howard). gilbert was never to be seen again, so there's the receipt.

The Highwomen Cover Fleetwood Mac - The Chain

warning: right after the cover are recordings of Brent and Kaitlyn having sex. gross!

this clip drives me insane. Howard is worse at admitting his faults and flaws than Ophelia is. fist he tries to deflect to Fred over the Rainbow Room incident which went down in the late 90's. the only people attending this dinner were Fred, Allison, Jackie and Nancy (not Howard!). how he has the nerve to yell "you weren't there! you have no right to comment!" a mere few minutes when people are criticizing him for his behavior at Gary's dinner party after using this defense is beyond me.

I literally don't know what purpose Robin serves on the show. Utterly worthless.

When she did the news it was laughable and now her purpose is even less apparent

Robin being on the show served one big purpose: It gave Howard license to make very racist jokes.

They don't do the news anymore or someone other than Robin does it? I never understood Howard and others insisting she was an integral part of the show or irreplaceable, etc.

I haven't listened since 2010. I thought the show as on its last legs at that point and am surprised he hasn't retired. How many days a week do they work now? Still 4? Do they still insist on doing the show in the morning?

No more news. I think Robin did it up until COVID stopped the show.

LOL 4 days. He's on the air 3 days a week but only for maybe half the year. No new shows (I don't think) over the summer at all. The show was getting worse and COVID didn't help anything. They are all working remotely still and it impacts the show IMO.

Howie has the same 3 or 4 musical guests on over and over again, talks about the same shitty TV shows over and over again, and generally talks about how tough it is being Howie constantly.

It's only good when Ronnie or Sour shoes are on whcih is less and less.

Think the Robin comments are misguided. He likes her and she's a partner on the show, gives him something to bounce off of. The news was good not because she was actually updating the listener on news or offering anything particularly insightful, but just to give Howard and the rest the chance to riff on different topics. I loved all the shenanigans with her music over the years and how it changed. When she would start speaking passionately/self-righteously about something and Fred would come in with her music at full blast it was hilarious.

Hate Ronnie, Sal, Richard. Lowest form of humor.

I read his interview book a few months ago, definitely a waste of time overall. His intro essays are terrible and yea, his interview style is not good with all the things people have mentioned here.

i love robin but howard was doing "howard math" this week and was like, "ok so there's 24 months in a year..." and robin was just like, "yep"

Yeah, lucky for that insurrection guy, he's getting out in less than 2 years instead of a little less than 4. I kept waiting for them to clean that up, but nobody ever remembered that years actually only have 12 months each.

From the Howard stern show, anyone remember the touchtone terrorists? My favorite is Rude Lube

https://youtu.be/gPkOdfgcqFk

“We'll have to replace the engine on that car and the hubcaps”

Also another good line from junkyard willie is “you talkin to a black man”. It doesn’t seem funny out of context though. Wish I could remember the name of that phone call
