Yeah he hasn't worn it long in awhile. I thought having Kimmel and O'Connell in the studio all day Monday made up for Thursday, although I did listen to that JD song repeatedly instead of that horrific Ralph show Thursday. FWIW, Bubba has been on fire the last two days.

Please say your having me on?

If not, when does the vacation start?

It took me two years to acquire a taste for Bubba, but I'm finally there. Ned's repeated crank calls to the Russian lady who sells Hitler dolls had me laughing so hard, I was crying.

"Hey, this Hitler doll just commandeered a Lionel train, and is taking a bunch of Cabbage Patch Dolls to the death camp!"

"This Hitler doll just showed me a lamp shade made from GI Joe's skin!"

"My Hitler doll just tried to throw Barbie into the EZ-Bake Oven!"

I checked SFN on Thursday morning (wondering why the show wasn't live), and a couple posters said that they were on break for the next two weeks. I really don't know if it's true, though...I hope not.

He usually takes two weeks around Memorial Day. Maybe, with the graduation, he front-loads it.

In other words, I have nothing of value to add.

Finally got to go back and listen to the full 4/21 show(Artie return and Neil Patrick Harris).

Neil Patrick was a great interview.

Paula is boring as balls, but I got on the show just now...listen for the call about her hairy vagine. I wish I could have come up with something better, but Will said it was my best shot to get on the show, and he was right.

Hey i heard you, but almost missed it due to changing the crappy Paula segment. Her show is going to be terrible.

Its amazing you got on honestly. I have called sporadically since he got to Sirius and I have only once ever even gotten to Will to be put up on the monitor, all I ever get is rings or the line is too busy stuff.

Just heard you a while ago on the replay. Even if you didn't say what you really wanted, it's still always fun to use the c-word.

Wow, that's awesome. Must be cool to be able to say you've spoken to Howard.

I've been listening for probably seven years, so it was pretty cool to finally get on the air. I call every now and then, but I've only talked to a screener two or three other times since it's almost always busy. If you can get through, though, Will almost always pushes the "offensive" calls through the fastest...I was on hold for maybe three minutes, and I would have been on faster if they hadn't played Mark the Bagger clips first. Offensive = on air quickly.

I just heard "Obama!" for the 1,000th time.

True as clockwork, I chuckled out loud. Again.

If we are sharing stories about being on the air (are we? -- if not, sorry for the hijack), I've got a short one and then a question ...

When his show on NBC was in its infancy, he played "Match Game" with a few comedians in the studio. The idea was that they would give a clue like "tennis blank", and the idea was to answer "balls", which would allow them to make all sorts of off color jokes. Of course, sometimes the caller didn't get it, and would give some utterly ******ed answer, which was even funnier.

Anyway, I got on in '84 to play Match Game. Of course, my answer was "balls", they did the whole thing, I was on for a while (probably a good 10 minutes), and was the "winner".

The prize was a "Howard Stern Radio Network" baseball jacket, which I still have, and have never worn. It is gray and has sewn on the chest a picture of Howard (think 1984) over a WNBC logo, with (I believe) the words "Howard Stern Radio Network" (which is kind of ironic, since syndication of his show was some years down the road.

So the question ... does anyone think this jacket is worth any kind of money? I've done some internet searches from time to time, but have never found anything, which leads me to believe either it's rare and valuable, or it's worthless.

I gotta think that's worth some dough, niss. He has always made a big deal about not being like the typical morning show with coffee mugs, bumper stickers and stuff. You should try getting in touch with the show. Catch them in a reminiscing mood and I wouldn't be surprised if you got some quality airtime to talk about it.
