Dear 2+2 Community,

my name is Alex, im 34 years old and an MTT Grinder from Germany. I'm planning to start a Grindhouse for the aforementioned reasons and i am looking for people who have common interest and are willing to start talking and making that reality.

I want to live in a mediterranean area of Europe and as far as my research went so far i would like to do that i Gibraltar. I'm open for a discussion about that of course because there are so many different things to consider in where to go but thats what my current state is.

Most importantly I want to find the right people to do that with and get in contact with as many of you that are interested and just see what develops from this.

im planning to finally move there until september 2024.

Some just general information about me: When im not at the tables im mostly outside with my dog and enjoying my time away from any monitors. i like yoga and meditation as well as any kind of board games or strategy gaming. im a very open personality and have a rather stoic mindset. i just wanna live my life and improve step by step. i believe from past experiences that forming a grindhouse with people i get along well will not only make playing poker as convenient as possible for everybody as well as give us the opportunity to live and learn together on a scheduled basis and become real crushers of this game.

Enough said for now I can only say that I know one thing for sure. I'm making that happen for myself by September 2024, question is who is joining? =)

Have you been to Gibraltar?

I've never met someone there who actually lived in a house, only apartments. Also can't remember ever being in one that had more than 2-3 BR but sample size for that isn't huge.

There are lots of very nice houses for rent on the Spanish mainland though. That's where all the gambling company execs with families live.

Yeah i had a brief look at the situation regaring living space there and i wouldnt mind an apartment if large enough and after only short time of searching i found several offers that would theoretically fit so i thought that wouldnt be a huge issue. its also discussable where to go in the end im not fully informed yet myself. its more about finding people who generally wanna do something like that.

I’d suggest asking in a sub forum that shas people who still play poker..

I'm gonna try and get a grindhouse together for people over 50 that don't play poker anymore...

Looks like people sometimes start threads like this in the travel forum but mainly for SE Asia, or you could ask in the low content threads of the poker strategy forums
