In my country there are pretty strict affiliation criteria to be a policeman. You have to be completely healthy, not short sighted, sporty and pass an intelligence test, basically the lite version of the NFL pro day. Now I don't know how it is in the US or wherever you live. But if that's the case, make sure that she understands that you belong to the top, let's say 5%, of the human beings.

OP you seem creepy and anti-social enough that you would have no problem posting her pics on the internet. So where are they?

I will say that I've "casually run into" girls after class or something (and walked with them to their next even if I didnt have another class where they were going), but driving back in forth in front of someones house takes it to a new level.

I'm not sure what bugs me more, the OP convincing himself that the timing just hasn't been right or the responses giving terrible advice like KEEP TRYING! or GO ASK HER OUT AND DONT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

I know some of those responses have to be levels but I'm sure some are serious. OP, you probably have no shot anymore. However, your best chance is to CHILL THE **** OUT, STOP STALKING HER, STOP TEXTING HER ALL THE TIME. Start playing WoW again to pass the time w/o texting her.

TomCollins speaketh the truth. The balance is totally wrong in the relationship, you have to blow her off, not vice versa. Nothing will happen until she thinks you are the valued commodity, not her. OP,

Cut your losses. Next time you are attracted to a girl, be more subtle. As others said the "casual drive bys" come off very stalkerish. Texting as frequently as you have without even going on a date kind of does too, especially given her uninspired responses in many cases. Also, if she is somehow not totally weirded out by now and you actually think she might still have some interest, she is clearly very flaky at best, and given her family situation and behavior totally bat**** insane at worst. Bottom line is she's not worth all the fuss you're making, for one reason or another.

Reading IFX's summary, every time I read the word "text" or "emailed" or "facebooked" I cringed a little. SOOOOOOOO much "decive" communication when there was so little face to face or phone communication. IFX, you're doing it wrong.
