Well she wants to be alone with him and doesn't want me texting him when they are together. You wouldn't define this as, "wanting him all to herself"?

Sounds reasonable. How would you feel if he texted her while banging you?

Wish I had read the entire back story before I commented. You have been trying to make amends and Code3 brings up evidence from 7 months ago to make the point that you were wrong back then? WTF?

I hope he stops by to give his perspective. At this point, it doesn't sound as if the two of you are a good fit. I hope that's not the case, and it's just a big misunderstanding.

Grand, I think we are a great fit! Both physically and mentally. Everything is just really amazing 95% of the time. He is an amazing guy! This really is our only issue.

If this is true, and you have made the effort to acknowledge and apologize your part in this, you've done all you can. You're making an effort to move past the issue. I wouldn't bring it up again.

By the way, I think some of your instincts are spot-on. But they're not important enough to argue with Code3.

Did she actually say this to you?

Does Code just sit back and laugh at the absurdity of all this?

Sounds like Code loves the drama/conflict/attention and does his part to instigate/prolong it instead of helping fix the problems.

Unless everyone in this story is still in high school, the only thing I could think while reading that was "what the **** is wrong with everyone in this, you all deserve each other."

So, what happens if this thread gets back to her?

Unless there are some trainwrecking penetrants ITT, that won't happen.

Dodgerirish,
I think the message you wrote went over well. Went to visit her mom with Code3 last night, and saw her. She was nice and engaged with conversation....things seemed ok.

Glad to hear it, I was going to ask.

Big thing now is to just drop it. Don't ever mention it again unless she brings it up.

should be a fun time getting your diagnosis ITT.

Spoiler:
She's obv faking it and still hates you.

I don't care if she hates me as long as it doesn't affect my relationship with Code3.

My feelings were hurt by her not wanting to go with me, but whatever. I tried to like her; she doesn't like me--doesn't really matter.

I haven't mentioned anything to Code3 or acted in any way jealous of his sister to him or her since 7 months ago with the whole basketball thing. I have been completely normal since then until now.

So you invited her to a girls NBA thing and she invited someone else too?

Seems OK....

Then they were "bitches to you"?

This needs more detail. I suspect you were massively over reacting

Also. Partners of family and family of partners tend to be the people you have to be the nicest too and spend the most time with that you don't get to pick in some way... so it's a fertile ground for disputes.

That said, the common factor in both arguments is the OP, so I'm going to place most of the blame there.

I offered to pay for her to go. She took the money to pay for someone else to go with her.

Another thing I left out that is still bothering me. When you go to the NBA 101 you also get 2 tickets for really good seats. She of course kept 2 sets of the tickets having only paid for one set. I have asked code3 to get the tickets from her, but it is highly unlikely this will ever happen. So not only did she do something incredibly ****ty with no consequences, she is also benefiting from being ****ty. Uggh, I guess I'm still mad about this. I guess cause Code3 never said anything to her about it like, "don't be a bitch to my gf", and it's never going to happen.
Should he have stepped in here, or is me expecting him to "take up for me"unreasonable?
I can't seem to get passed this.
