alobar killing it ITT
sup, I will also give you some genuine advice kind of in the same vein as alobar's.
You remind me a lot of my younger self, except you seem to have built up 10x the delusional self image and actually possess 1/10th the intellect you seem to think you do.
Growing up I was always regarded as a smart kid. A lot of us were. My teachers told me a lot of the same things yours did, and I think to a child/adolescent that does not receive a lot of affection at home, it's easy for the ego to grasp on to this and build up this elaborate fantasy around it about how you're way smarter than everyone around you and you're only unsuccessful because you never try, have an addiction, or are unlucky, blah blah blah.
I hate to break it to you, but child prodigy isn't a very good predictor of future success. Even if you were in fact a prodigy, which I think is unlikely, you've done absolutely nothing with it. If it helps your ego to think you were actually a genius but just smoked your way into a 3rd grader's mind, then fine. I mean FFS you're bragging about stuff that happened when you were 7. SEVEN.
The reality is RIGHT NOW you lack really basic common sense and reasoning abilities, and have some serious addiction problems. You are in debt. The keno thread is just astounding to me because I think you're really being genuine in these threads.
so RIGHT NOW you need to realize:
a) that if you were actually a genius and good with numbers/gambling, you wouldn't be in such crushing debt
b) that you can't beat casino games and things like the keno thread demonstrate that you probably won't do well in a lot of things in life until you realize your limitations and adjust accordingly
c) that you are in fact a person lacking a lot of common sense and need to seek the help of someone who can guide you in the right direction. a lot of therapists also provide life coaching services. seek one of these out, I benefited hugely from one.
like alobar said: you need to take a hard look in the mirror and consider the fact that maybe the things you believe about yourself aren't true. for someone like you, though, I'll admit it's practically impossible and probably will require some earth shattering event for it to happen.
