If your story is true, there are certainly people you know irl who would help you out for a % ownership and a kickback. Something like 10% of the gym and 350/mo until the 4k is paid back.
Have you said where you are located?
How were you able to get this far opening a gym without any buffer of money for last minute expenses?
Have you signed a lease, what are the terms, personal guarantee?
Edit: I wrote this as you were responding so you did answer some of it.
Definitely not trying to pull at anyone’s emotions. You know there’s always that presumption of guilt now a days. I’m not asking any of you to make a decision based off of me being a veteran. Or based off of my involvement with kids. That’s just my passion. I can prove every bit of what I’m saying. You all can verify it easily. That’s why I was trying to be completely open about who I am.
I’m regards to the business aspect of it:
I do have a lease agreement for 5 years.
Money set aside as a buffer: I’ve already exhausted that with other upgrades.
I could open without the ring. But I’ve had numerous groups of people requesting that I put one in there. And to answer you question El D. The layout has to go one way or the other. So if I’m going to put a ring in there then I have to do it now. Or if I do it later then it will have to be in a separate building.
Here is the thing. I appreciate everyone’s feedback. No matter what it is. If I need to take a lessor amount for the loan I will to prove my credit worthiness. and buy the used ring. I would gladly give a percentage of my business as collateral until the loan is satisfied
