Congratulations, everyone who watches that and nodded, you literally are in the same intellectual position as people from the middle ages and toddlers.
I just watched it too since he keeps ramming that particular one down our throats. Hoo boy is all I got to say. Although, I do agree that it's a good idea to quit making mortgage payments.
1big,
If the sun is above us and we are on a flat surface, we should be able to see the sun all the time, even if it's shining on Antarctica and we're in Norway.
Simple experiment: hold a sheet of paper at any distance between you and a lamp. No matter the size of the light or brightness or distance or angle, if there's nothing between the paper and the lamp, all surfaces of the paper which face the lamp will be illuminated. Likewise, if the earth is flat and the sun is above us, we'll always see it, even if it moves in spirals or swirls or twirls. So long as it's up there, we'd see it (unless of course some other object were to block it).
How does this fit in with your model?
