Very sorry for all the posts, I keep forgetting things I meant to say earlier.

"Flat Earth Society" is conrtolled opposition. So is Eddie Bravo, Joe Rogan, Alex Jones (33 name, along with InfoWars). Even wikileaks is in on it I fell for their stuff during the election cycle, as I thought they were legit. Makes much more sense when you think of them as controlled (their logo is a globe for crying out loud).

Assange would not survive or have any assistance from other nations if wikileaks was legit. Just more divide/conquer stuff. Anything you see on a mainstream outlet is put there on purpose to further program and indoctrinate us into heliocentrism and ultimately satan.

Be cool to each other, don't listen to the shills who bombard anyone with negativity. I apologize for reacting with insults etc. It is very difficult to completely break free of the matrix and I still have a ways to go.

Digesting the truth takes a lot of time, and as I said before: you have to look for it yourself. I can only do so much.

Are you employed? Do you consider yourself smart? Do you have any higher education?

If you have answered these before I can look them up. I'm just curious if some of the people around me are flat-earthers.

I haven't watched any of the videos posted because I have a job and generally other things to do with my life. I've been wondering something though and was hoping you could reply.

There's a variety of things you and other flat earth people have explained are conspiracies or misinformation or CGI/etc. I'm wondering if there is any evidence which if you personally experienced it would change your mind? Follow up: if such a piece of evidence existed and was shown to you or experienced by you, do you believe that other flat earthers would believe you, or would they believe that you had been brought into the scientism fold and no longer trustworthy?

Pharaonic bookkeepers gave a distance between Syene and Alexandria of 5,000 stadia (a figure that was checked yearly).[16] Some say that the distance was corroborated by inquiring about the time that it took to travel from Syene to Alexandria by camel. Carl Sagan says that Eratosthenes paid a man to walk and measure the distance. Some claim Eratosthenes used the Olympic stade of 176.4 m, which would imply a circumference of 44,100 km, an error of 10%,[16] but the 184.8 m Italian stade became (300 years later) the most commonly accepted value for the length of the stade,[16] which implies a circumference of 46,100 km, an error of 15%.[16] It was unlikely, even accounting for his extremely primitive measuring tools, that Eratosthenes could have calculated an accurate measurement for the circumference of the Earth. He made three important assumptions (none of which is perfectly accurate):[16][17]
That the distance between Alexandria and Syene was 5000 stadia,
That the Earth is a perfect sphere.
That light rays emanating from the Sun are parallel.
Eratosthenes later rounded the result to a final value of 700 stadia per degree, which implies a circumference of 252,000 stadia, likely for reasons of calculation simplicity as the larger number is evenly divisible by 60.[16] In 2012, Anthony Abreu Mora repeated Eratosthenes' calculation with more accurate data; the result was 40,074 km, which is 66 km different (0.16%) from the currently accepted polar circumference of the Earth.[17]
Seventeen hundred years after Eratosthenes' death, while Christopher Columbus studied what Eratosthenes had written about the size of the Earth, he chose to believe, based on a map by Toscanelli, that the Earth's circumference was one-third smaller. Had Columbus set sail knowing that Eratosthenes' larger circumference value was more accurate, he would have known that the place that he made landfall was not Asia, but rather the New World.[18]

Flat earthers either deny trigonometry entirely or say it is misapplied.

Are we all agreement that water seeks to rest at level? If California coast, Hawaii, & Japan are all sea level, and water is level, how does science explain the "mountains" of water between the three places which must be in place due to the curve of a globe? It has been challenging answering what would cause water mountains so I would love to know what everyone here knows the reason for this is.

Can you picture a globe? Water rests at level, so can you picture how a straight line between California & Asia would cut off a significant portion of the curvature changing the shape from a sphere? That cut off shape is all water (all a little island chain). What is the science for a mountain of curved water?
